Ever wanted a safe hidden behind the mirror? Me too. This project isn't as much about keeping the safe secret as much as it is keeping dangerous items away from the kids. It's also not where I store my valuables. I wouldn't put something like that on the internet. This is just one more line of defense for the household in a way that keeps everything out of sight in the awesomest way possible.

The hardest part is not being able to pick up the phone and call him when I have a problem with my electrical, plumbing, car, it just seems like that he knew you had to fix everything no matter what it was he never called anybody to do work at our house he did everything. @@heygetoffmylawn1572 I just typed out a message for you and it vanished. I was telling you about my sister passing away too. 11 months ago. I hate it when that happens. She had end stage Cancer when she found out. It was to late. I pretty much raised her. Taught her all the little things in life. Like how to tie her shoes, wash her hands, eat with a fork. You get the picture. 3 Days before she dies I CAME DOWN WITH double pneumonia. I woke up in an ICU Unit with a machine breathing for me. Found out she had died while I was in a coma. Her youngest daughter told me how it all went down. So you can imagine . This last year 2019 was nothing but bad stuff happen. Niece said she was screaming and fighting all the way up to the end. I wish I could have been there. I would have made hospice sedate her. So, she could pass peacefully. She was so frightened of dying. Stuff been eating me up. Now I'm the baby of the family. You know... I still can't cry. I sure need some closure. I tried. I relly did. Went and bought a new truck just soI could drive to Missouri to bring her to Texas and live with me. Had Hospice all set up for hr. I just never planned on me getting sick. Sucks...............................................

Aspiring craftsman my foot ! 1. Superb fit and finish. 2. Very nice garage shop. 3. Best looking helper I have ever seen. 4. Darn good videography. 5. Not one second of time was repetitive jabber or stupid graphics. Taking into consideration all of the above I do believe this is the best video I have ever run across on the internet. Now, I will admit the fact that this craftsman looks like my son did 30 years ago and the “craftsman’s” assistant is about the age of my beautiful great granddaughter may have slightly influenced my objectivity.

It was so awesome seeing your baby right there doing all the hard work. I have one in a half year old and he wants to do everything I do. He is always right beside me when I work on the house. We even had to buy him a drill because he is obsessed with my tools particularly anything with the motor. Sometimes it make jobs a bit harder to complete but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Thanx for the content. Hope you and your family are blessed .

I was expecting to see all kind of comments about how you were put the kid at risk. But I guess the type of people that would be interested in this topic are intelligent enough to see she was safe and understand the benefits of raising a kid this way will make her a well rounded adult. And great build as well. Keep up the good work on both fronts.

Right?!? I'm really out of touch with childhood development stages, never even having a close friend or family member raise a child through infancy around me, so I was surprised by that. And later he said, "stay there" and even though she wanted to crawl over there she didn't. I can't judge children's ages either, so I don't know how old she is, but by sheer looking at her, in her little diaper, I didn't expect that level of linguistic comprehension. This is just ignorance in my part. It really reinforces, to me, how important this kind of stimulation (actually taking to them with "real" speech) and quality time must be during earlier stages than I would have expected. He reminds me of my dad, except it was motorcycle parts. And she's adorable.

With all the madness going on elsewhere it's great to get grounded again watching a wholesome father daughter interaction like this. You made me smile today and I thank you for that!
