Hello! Why 1:5 and not 1:2 or 1:3 while considering the expansion of the herbs for example to make it stronger and consume less alcohol while using more stronger tincture and less of it? Also another question as well - is it effective to powder roots and make tincture out of powdered roots where it would be easier to press the powdered tincture if not having a tincture press?
I plan on making ashwagandha and eleuthero tinctures but don't want to use everclear. Can just plain potatoes vodka (can't have grain alcohol due to celiac and corn allergies)will work? Thank you for the video.
So easy a cave man can do it. I make my own ginseng tinctures now and save a lot of money. unfortunately good wild american ginseng root is still high in cost. but for good reason.
