Very thorough build.and great camera work too. I enjoyed watching and learned from the process. A couple of questions if you don’t mind. 1. I know it’s a matter of taste, but why choose an exhibition case back with an undecorated rotor? 2. What camera was used in shooting this video? The macros are exceptional.
Thank you for your comment and for answering your questions, 1. the owner wanted all the original parts from seiko to be seen. 2. I use external phone clip lenses (fairly good quality ones, though) and play around with the distance between lenses and an object. Of course, trade off with how hard I have to work on the assembly process.
Thank you very much. I invested most of my money on watches and repaire tools. Believe it or not, I use phone lense on macro mode together with external clip lenses for phone. Also I add some lighting too.
Your way to make your job is always amazing! One question: in another Seiko movement I remember the position of the oscillating weight was onto a particular way in corrispondace to the magic lever wheel…isnt in this one?
