I hope you all enjoyed making my accordion pocket page with me! Definitely try this out and see what else you can add or change as it is so much fun and easy to make! Sending all my love to you! -Nazy
Fun idea! I applaud your collage technique and am happy to see someone who understands and appreciates the value of vintage and antique papers. So many crafters cover them up - what a waste! Using a light touch, as you demonstrated here, still provides plenty of texture and interest and allows those wonderful old papers to be the star of the show. Well done! ~ Lisa
Love these! Thank you for a concise and easy to follow tutorial, as well as the wax paper tip! The paint on the tag is an excellent idea that I picked up on as well. 💕
I have been reading about accordion pages but I am not sure I have made something similar. It does create a nice contrast when you paint the top layer of the pocket, lovely! Such a cute finished page! 💖💕💕📝🤩
I have just watched Barbara’s video where she mentioned you and provided a link to your channel. I enjoyed your video. You are very easy to listen to and I loved your creation. 💕😊🇦🇺
I like that you are creating in a shorter amount of time. I like watching you create, but I do not always have the thirty minutes to an hour to watch you create or to create with you. I really enjoy your creativity and your concepts and techniques sharing. Thank you.
I love making pockets 💜 What a delight to see this method. My journals are not as neutral coloured; I'll have a go with some book pages, music sheets and scrapbook papers from my stash. I've been making lots of tags so can use those. Thanks for a lovely video, 👍🏻 Joie 🌿❣️
Awesome, I'm a mixed media artist and just found some great vintage items that I didn't quite know what to do with yet. You have given me a great idea. Hint I bought some charlotte dolls from germany
Lovely as usual....thanks for the "tut"..... Which kraft paper do you use. It seems lighter in color and in weight from the typical kraft card stock. Thanks again.
What size is the "base page"?The top page is a regular 8 1/2 by 11 rightGreat tutorials . You are my favorite . The way you set up real flowers on your side of table and other neat pieces beside you
You’re welcome. As an FYI, I just tried it not as the center but glued one side to a blank back page of the first page in signature and the other side to blank front of second page, at outer edges of the pages. Then did similar on the other side of those pages (back of signature), but glued the edges to the inside edge. Both work, and it actually helps hold signature together for sewing.
@@ldyjewell LOL not exactly sure what you mean here BUT I will figure it out. I got the accordion page built but dont have my signatures ready yet so it will be a while before I can figure out where I want to put the accordion page and glue it in. .... I am a member of Junk Journal Junkies ETC. come join us so I can see how you did it when you post it? LOL its so fun! thank you so much! Nice chatting with you!
