I have a cockatiel who’s 32 years old his brother passed at 29 years old .my bird of 32 years lives in a huge outside aviary I have all different sizes of perches and ramps and shelves for him,he also has a box that’s full of tissues which he sleeps in every night.my cockatiel can still fly but has slowed down a lot,I put my phone in the aviary every day for him to watch other cockatiels on video,he loves it,he doesn’t open any seeds like sun flower seeds I have to buy them shelled,I think his long life has been he’s happy,I collect all the seeds he would have eaten in the wild,and I always make sure they haven’t been sprayed.
