Central government can do anything in national interest; But everybody knows this Bill was brought in purely as a political stunt of BJP; If at all BJP did not have the political intention, why not dissolve the Delhi government itself and let LG rule it; That is okay, if BJP supporters chose to remain silent and appreciate this act!!

Federalism in an absolute way doesn't apply to New Delhi in the sense it applies to other states. As per the Constitution , New Delhi is like a quasi state. This legislation wouldn't be valid for any stat.
