Hey! Yeah no problem. I’m using a Scarlett 2i2. But I’m also using my push 3 as well - I made an aggregate device (in audioMIDIsetup, there are videos on how to do that). Hope that helps! :)
It's interesting that you try to record everything live. I mean, you don't write notes in Ableton, you just play. You come up with interesting chords and record them on the fly. Then you adapt vocals and other instruments to them. I've seen in other videos that you also record live instruments. Interesting, interesting :)
@@markhenke2709 hehe yes I did paint them :) using masking tape and spray paint. The white keys are actually also painted - a light blue/grey but it’s kinda hard to tell in the video
There is a saying, the musician sits and the performer stands. With this type of vid, the behind the scenes process stuff, that's musician. If you are going for glitz, branding or any of that stuff, the process vids prolly aren't a good idea. There is an exception, but recording something and not releasing it might seem weird. A personal video diary though, is good for your growth, you don't have to share it.
