We're so excited to be a part of bringing this incredible world to your tabletops! We'll be sharing more about the product and gameplay very soon on our social media, emails, and Discord.
My mom is from Gunnison, and she hadn't really wanted to watch your videos, but the second that I told her that you said that your main town area was Gunnison, her immediate reaction was "I wanna see". Thank you, Boylei, for getting my mom into the nerdy, geeky stuff that my dad and I are into Edit: Holy moly, this blew up. Thanks
OK, now I need to see a diorama of settlers traveling through the South Dakota Badlands and running into a pack of Prairie Wolves. Love the idea of the game!
or large prairie dogs. A wagon wheel gets stuck in a collapsed tunnel, then a pack of angry great dane sized prairie dogs surging out to take you down would be scary. Coming at you, diving down into their tunnels when you draw a bead on them, getting attacked from the tunnel behind you etc One minute there's nothing there then they come in from every direction.
@@BouncingTribbles Dire Prairie Dogs, lol. They could duke it out with the Ceratogaulus, a prehistoric horned gopher which used to live in the Great Plains area up until the early Pliocene. I guess they fought each other like tiny little subterranean rhinos
I love “weird west” settings, but have always wished they were grounded a bit more in the actual history of the place and era than in films based on it since the the actual history is often already incredibly strange and interesting. This looks like exactly what I’ve been looking for!
During the last couple of years watching your wiw-videos, i have always thought to myself "this world would be such a cool setting for a tabletop or videogame". Glad to see it finally happen, can't wait to actually play it and introduce my buddies to this amazing world you have created! :)
As someone who actually ran a D&D one-shot that was partially inspired by one of your dioramas this is super exciting news! I’m gonna keep up with this new project and definitely try to get it when it is released. Congratulations, dude!
"I drilled a hole under all of them that would have light. Which was pretty much all of them, except the outhouses." Ah, so the greatest monster in the Wild Imaginary West is in fact, Boylei.
I have been working on a Wild West inspired 5e campaign and have been using your builds for some inspiration so I am unbelievably hyped for the Wild Imaginary West to have its own TTRPG system! I can't wait for the launch!
As someone who loves this series and is a sucker for Wild West settings _and_ already had a Wild West inspired dnd one-shot in the works? Yes yes yes yes I am absolutely supporting this kickstarter!!
Been a silent subscirber for years and watching this made me tear up, your WIW content has really helped me through some tough times in my life and I am absolutely THRILLED that I'll finally be able to participate in this incredible world that you've built
Congratulations on your new game. I will definitely be purchasing it. It’s a weekly tradition for me and my family to watch your RU-vid channel every Sunday morning before we get ready to go to church. We appreciate what you do for us. What you help my daughters use your imagination and expand their minds. Thank you.
Congratulations Mr.Hobbytime! My first ever video I stumbled upon from your channel was your take on the Crystal Mill! Seeing your craftsman ship in recreating and reimagining such an iconic Colorado landmark was so intriguing and refreshing! I’ve been hooked ever since and I regularly share that video with others. I’m so excited to play in my imaginary home state with my friends! Thank you for all the creative time, effort, and love you’ve put into this world and channel.
It’s great to see all your hard work turn into flourishing success! You have been blessed with a talent for our Almighty God and I’m grateful you share it with us all! Congratulations!
The very day I discovered this series I told my wife I wanted to play an RPG in this world. But your models are such a big part of that visual language. I need minis and battle terrain!!
I have to thank you for being the direct inspiration for my brothers and I's homebrewed wild west style D&D campaign. It's just a fun style that you can get really creative with, and seeing this get expanded into an actual balanced game will make my brothers excited.
I’ve been in awe of your WiW series from the get go and to see you evolve as both artist and story teller and to see it all blossom into a tabletop rpg is absolutely phenomenal. 🎉
With that slight hue of blue and incredibly clear transparency, I can totally see the mountainous valley snow pack that the river is fed by each spring. You have a gift, Boylei.
I remember the first time I stumbled upon your dioramas back in 2021 when I was bedridden with Covid. You’ve come a long way now and I’m glad that you’ve given us all a chance to be part of the Wild Imaginary West :)
I'm not a gamer and I have no friends so I'll never get to play it, but I'm so excited about the RPG! I've been watching the WIW unfold and it definitely needed something like this. Congrats!
Congrats!! This is so exciting to hear. I've been watching the Imaginary Wild West grow for a while now and I'm so happy to hear your project is moving forward :D Keep up the amazing work!!
I've been following you for a long time now, always making great content! I'm really happy for you about your upcoming project! For sure I want one! Looking forward to this!
Man im so happy for you. I watched the imaginary West from the very beginning, and always wished (and knew) it would turn into something bigger. Can't wait for the things to come
I'm exceptionally excited to see the WIW tabletop come out. I'll be keeping and eye out and keeping a little aside to make sure I can grab my own copy.
Boylei, I'm some random on the internet to you, but to me, you've been a great inspiration for my diorama and hobby experience. I feel proud so say I've followed you and this project for over 1 year now, and even though many here have followed it longer, I feel so happy for you and how far the project has gotten! Well done and good luck with the kickstarter!
The announcement makes me so happy. An RPG is the perfect medium for the setting you created. I'm excited for this opportunity for you. I'm absolutely intending to get this game.
Congratulations Boylei. From the acorn of an idea in your head comes a great oak forrest as it explodes out into the world. I've always been a fan of your WIW and its great to see it rewarded so deservedly!
I’m so excited!!! I love new TTRPGs and the Wild West is a criminally underrated setting. It would honestly be so cool to have some of your builds as art for the game, maybe some backgrounds for pages
I'm so happy for you Boylei! I have been following this project almost since it started! congrats on the Role playing Game! I definitely want to check it out! It's so cool to see fellow artists go on to create such fantastic things! I'll be praying that this goes well for you! again, Congratulations!
Now I really want a red dead or skyrim esque video game for the WIW. I just imagine getting bounties for creatures, spelunking for materials, possibly even making your own high tech caravan for who knows what. Hope the tabletop RPG goes well, this series is great.
I can’t wait to buy and play this beautiful Rpg, i love that you put miniatures of the monster you’ve been using in your dioramas. (Sorry for bad english)
Congratulations! I've enjoyed watching you build and learning about the history of the imaginary west--an RPG sounds like a great outcome. Congratulations again!
I have never been more excited for a separate ttrpg system in my life and this legit may be the beginning of me branching out to more systems and not just call of Cthulhu I’ve adored the wild imaginary west for years at this point and this announcement has gotten me so excited
Dude this is such great news! No cap I was just about to homebrew my own campaign set in your universe and now it seems the work is being done for me! Expect a backing for sure, can’t wait to see the final product. Keep up the great work man, much love.
Boylei, You have been my huge inspiration throughout the years I can not say how much I freaked out when this news came out. Keep on doing what you are doing -Noah
On the one hand, I'm disappointed it's not a video game because I would have loved to work on that as an indie dev. On the other hand, I'm very happy for you. This is an amazing opportunity for you to grow the reach of your incredible creation. God bless you.
Been a long time viewer and as a fellow Coloradan from the Springs, I gotta say that I have been loving the way you bring an amazing lens to our beautiful state. Congratulations on your upcoming game, and I can't wait to check it out with what I hope will be some nice landmarks for reference.
I am SUPER excited to try this and have always been looking for ways to support you. I love your builds, I am really excited to see what you cooked up for your new game
What a magic sensation. I feel like a kid watching your videos. When I was seven spent a whole summer playing in my garden with playmobil, setting a combat field with wood chunks, rocks, making rivers and lakes with a water bucket, and then blowing up it all with fireworks. It was a fun time with my friends. Greetings from Spain!!
I cant wait to play this once i can afford it! My friends are gonna love it cause it combine some of the things we all enjoy. I cant wait to see the beastiary.
a game? A GAME?!?!?! im so happy for you bro, you're hands down my favorite and go-to creator and i've learned so much from your videos. i have a group of friends I do board games with so I will definitely be forcing this upon them lmao
The WIW is such a cool and intriguing setting, and as someone who has been following the series' development pretty much since its beginning, and I am so excited to see that it's now in game form. Congratulations Boylei!
I'm so happy about the RPG game, because me and a couple of friends are going to play an Old West RPG game, and when i showed this video to one of my friends, he freaked out about it. We are definitely going to play this one too!
This is so great! I have been imagining a ttrpg of the WiW pretty much since I saw your first video. I adore your world, and I hope this works out! I also hope your ttrpg catches people's imagination, and is streamlined enough, entertaining enough, customizable enough to last and draw people in. Really looking forward to this!
CONGRADS!! You Deserve this, and I AM SO Glad there will be a GAME! I am ON BOARD! Man I have Not been Down To The Black Canyon in such a Long Time, Now YOU GIVE me a place to go explore again! THANKS SO Much for all YOUR Inspiration!! Best of Luck With this GAME!! It Will Go A LONG LONG WAY!!
I saw a comment on your previous video that predicted this announcement based on the fact that you were having the model of the Prairie Shepard duplicated. I bet they're really happy now.
I'm so excited for this! I love the Wild Imaginary West. I'm sure my group will love this as well. This is the type of thing I've been hoping for since the start.
This is amazing! Every video you make I can just imagine it in a video game setting, RDR2 graphics with your badass content. This is how big IPs start! Congrats and good luck moving forward, I hope to be playing your game on my PS6. *edit* I understand this is a tabletop game announcement. **
