The little munchkins laugh is so cute lol Looking into getting started in leather crafting thanks to your videos. Haven't worked with leather since shop class in middle school but pops still has the coin pouch I made him and still looks new.
I just made 5 dopp kits for Christmas gifts out of that same leather from Tandy! I'm a beginner so the pattern I used was a little different and simpler. I'm glad to see that I picked the right leather for my project! Thanks for the tips! Loved the video!
I didn't, I think making a little kid a prop is questionable. That generation are going to be total weirdos who think they have to be in character all the time.
I wanted to give you a compliment watching your video started me doing my leather projects started about two years ago just doing a Wallet I just axe Cover I like your RU-vid channel very much
I have no problems with your payer promotion plug, Discovered your channel yesterday, watching the quick draw holster video. Like what I see Being a blacksmith making knife sheets, it is interesting for me. Thanxalot from the Netherlands
I got that same hide from the Sandy Tandy store during their Christmas sale, after a new bag for my wife I should have enough for this project :-D Love your vids and your energy, keep rolling and growing!
I want a Cowboy 4500 for sheaths and holsters and a Cowboy 361 for bags and wallets. After seeing you Juki in action I might forget the 361 and convince my brother to give me his Consew 206. He’s an upholster and has used it on leather furniture and motorcycle seats. And he already has a second machine, a Pfaff.
that would be awesome. Leather gloves seems to be the one leather item that nobody really makes. It looks intimidating, but some heavy gloves made from real leather would be awesome. Gloves are like the final frontier for leather woorking
Just a awesome video and the bag looks great and the holster you made to.Can't wait to check out your other video's Nice family you have also.Happy New Year! Slim.
Hey Parker, Another great video man. Just wanted to say that 'We Hope You, Witney & family have a lovely Christmas'. Started eating Turkey here already! Kind regards PJ & Mrs J.
Wow love that bag man can wait for you to get the buck brown bill fold back in stock. I will be ordering mine when ya do. I would definitely buy this bag if you carried it. I imagine it would carry a nice price tag judging by the time it took to make it understandable so.
Make a leather rifle scabbard, that could be mounted to 4 wheeler or strapped to a saddle. Great videos! I would buy that shave kit bag. came out very nice. Subbed :-)
Two comments, and one question. Comment 1. Awesome bag. Comment 2. That's great you have a shop at home to work and have family time together. Question. Is there a way to do foil stamping without the expensive heat press?
I’m a fire fighter and I use leather auto extraction gloves and I use leather glove when I work on the ranch would love to see that or one thing my family does is make leather socks and use the thinnest leather there is and then we take and we will take a regular sock and stick in the leather sock and it makes waterproof socks
HI, Any chance you can do a video on skiving to include different weights and soft or hardness of leathers? I'm just learning mine, i make handbags and i don't have it down yet. Thank you.
Love your channel and just ordered my first item from your site. Can’t wait to get that messenger bag. Ever consider a duffle/weekender bag. Love something quality made by a small American maker.
Hey! Thanks for sharing! I love seeing these projects come together and love to learn from your skill. I'm wondering if you'd do a carpenter's pouch maybe with shoulder straps or at least hooks for the option for straps. Thinking of doing something like that but a little unsure about shaping the actual pouches.
Your work and channel became the most inspirational force behind my decision to start attempting to get into leather working. I have only been at it for 3 weeks but I am working hard to design templates and prototypes of each product I hope to make and eventually sell. Any advice you could share for a beginner looking to build up a book of template designs? I am using Illustrator CC 2019.
Do you have a video explaining what weight leather fro all projects? Like that bag, wallets, the wallet pockets, belts, and bags?? I’ll look for it if you do. It’s just hard getting started when you don’t have everything needed and the funds to do it lol
All your work comes out great. You have an awesome attitude to boot. I've seen a ton of 12 gauge ole west style bandoliers for sale online with just as many complaints that they don't fit correctly. I think that may have to do with the opposite side bandolier maybe a smaller caliber, but still sits under the 12 gauge bandolier, making it too tight or not wearable. Can you make these adjustable being the v-stitched bottom is set? thanks in advance, Great bag!
Very Nice!!👏🏽👍🏼I have made about 50 leather Dopp Kits, for the Fun of it. I use One piece of Leather, 13" Zipper, Leather handle; with Cloth linings!💪🏼😎
Looks amazing. I have recently gotten in to leather working. Mostly patterns of masks, bandoliers, guitar straps, bracelets from etsy. Found oiled leather is my favourite to work with. Got a side of 5oz crazy horse leather, in this same colour to work on. Can't wait. Also, my daughter turns 10 soon, I miss the days when she had the same high pitched voice and laugh. Keep up the amazing videos.
Oh something be really cool is an leather American flag I’d buy that ik almost every one in my family would buy one or watch the video to Leary how to make one
When I put on ma leather, and rock to sum Metallica, Delta Parole, Foo Fighters or the Smashing Pumpkins I feel like I can do anything in the whole wide world.
