Your character designer is absolutely amazing. reminded me so much of ren and stimpy that i can’t for the life of me understand why nick turned it down. but i’m glad they did, the animation revolution is looking bright :))
It's actually better to make an animated show on the internet, because Nick got greedy nowadays and *if your show doesn't beat the spongebob ratings it's time to say goodbye forever*
I simply love the various cartoon cat designs in this video. So wacky, fun and just plain "cat-tacular". I wonder; will there be any dog characters introduced? It would be funny if Ollie got herself a puppy to be friends with Scoops, and name him...Fudge. I don't know why but seeing that the cat's named Scoops,makes me think of ice cream.
Seeing the behind the scenes of the magic of animation is always a joy. Thanks for sharing! Even if you made all of that stuff up and you just use wizard magic because all animators are wizards.

I agree. I think it's mainly because Vivzie is more of an animator for music videos than a designer and show animator. So of course some of her directing choices are a bit iffy at first when it comes to what isn't her specialty. Such as character and sound design for Hazbin. Helluva Boss rivals this more but Hazbin for right now is no competition in quality.
I really loved this!!! It gave me a lot of insight on how cartoon episodes are made and all the work that goes into it. Thanks for sharing this process, I know many people are gonna find this useful.

I've watched every episode of Ollie & Scoops but I had never watched this mini-documentary until tonight. I didn't know that *the* Vivziepop was involved as a voice actor! 🤓
How do you sort out the timings of an animation to be 6 mins for example. Do you use an animatic? I can only get my Sonic sprite animations to 2-3 mins at best? If any know of any tutorials or anything, please let me know.

Seriously though, this is majorly impressive and I'm partly glad that it didn't get picked up by Nick, since you wouldn't have had the creative freedom you have now. (Granted, the money would have also been nice, along with a sizable staff, but hey, integrity!)
I noticed most of the voice actors were recorded in the same booth. Do they fly in to record their lines? Or do they all happen to live close by? I worked on a project once but all the voices were recorded in different locations with different equipment and it was really hard to make it sound like they were in the same place.
