Oh man! I saw that shelf table thing and I was like how the hell is that practical? Then I saw it in action and I was wow I’m an idiot for doubting.

I too made one of these and I allow some play in the shelves that make the table, with the ability to tighten them in place once in table mode, for if I didn't, given the nature of the geometry. there will be gaps between the pieces in the table configuration. This seems to be product of the thickness of the shelves and the minute (minoot) amount of space between them when in table mode, neededm so they can pass one another to go from table to shelf mode and back. And yet your table configuration seems to lack those gaps. How did you do it?
