Simplicity in it's finest form. That's what i like. No flashy intros and loud music, no gibbering on about bollocks and fake Instagram smiles. Good job mate! This reminds me i need to get into shape like you
The fire pit is a washing machine drum, this isn't really needed you could just light a fire on the ground. I made the cover out of form ply and corrugated iron.
I'm thinking of doing something similar to this but not outside but in a shed or large restroom making it like a onsen to possibly reduce gas bills, any thoughts guys?
you would be better off building a basic radiator if your heating a house tbh. but if you mean heating the shed and having the tub inside get an old boiler tank and some copper tube piping then use the pipes to make two off shoots for the tank that lead to the tub. then make a hatch in the wall so you can feed the fire and boom. fire heats the boiler which makes the cold water flow in and the hot water flow out which heats the pipes which warms the room
@@mtarrant3 brilliant, thanks for the information. how did you find using the enameled steel bath? did it stand up to the fire OK over the long term? I'm trying to decide between an enameled steel vs cast iron tub. the enameled steel would be much easier worked with!
