This soap smells Amazing!! The scent held up really well. But, make sure to take into account the Vanillin content because despite using vanilla color stabilizer(which I do understand is not a perfect solution for cold process soap), the remaining bars have really discolored.
HI Billie, the way I do with my vanilla stabilizer is to emulsify it with a little battery powered mini whisk. I think the recommended use is to add the stabilizer to your fragrance oil 30 minutes in advance, emulsify it and then it does much better. At least it works really great for me. Much Love! Shellsbells Thank you footer the tip. I will trythat thenext timei useit. It's so funny because the directions say to mix it immediately before use. I believe other soapers experience to be a great help.
I use unrefined butters, I use pomace olive oil and I find if I use a good ratio with coconut and tallow/palm really helps towards a whiter bar, plus kaolin clay can help a little. those who get them very white tend to use a fair amount of TD x
I'll be honest I've never measured but it's always took much more than I would have liked. I did find the water dispersible to be more effective at turning mine white than the oil one. I'd say I used a good tbsp per pound of oils on my nicest white without glycerine rivers. Generally if the white is bright it always gives me the river's, some soaps look good with them though
Gorgeous girl!! The swirls and marbling couldn't be more beautiful ! I love this scent too but I don't have the fragrance oil, I do my own blend of sweet orange and vanilla. It is a one of my top seller's in my body butter's. It's just yummy! Tfs! : )
Just out of curiosity, I noticed yesterday (Saturday) that you had added the Patchouli Saffron to your Etsy store but when I went to your Etsy store today it wasn't there anymore. Did you already sell out of it?
