We sure enjoyed your vacation!! You did a great job sharing it with us. I am thankful you got to experience so many of the places you consider sacred! That is a special gift.
When I was a kid back in the 60’s, my family took a big trip every other year or so. Mom would pack up our 64 Ford pickup with a camper on the back, with sleeping bags, clothes, a cooler and food for our family of 7 and we would take off. We live near Kansas City, MO and we visited every state west of us!! We camped along the way and got to experience all our beautiful country has to offer!
How wonderful to have been raised by parents who prioritized those memories. I'm determined to do so from here on out. Thank you so much for spending time with me today.
Oh man this is top of my bucket list for trips. I’m getting teary eyes watching. I’ve never visited any of the church history sites but want to so badly in my lifetime. What incredible memories for your family. Did you stop at martins cove?
What an amazing trip! I live on the east coast in MD and have been blessed to visit some of the church history sites. It is amazing . We are also blessed to have some of our grown children living in Utah so we get to visit out there and see some of the beautiful sites and national parks , Wow!
Love this so much!!! Thanks for sharing your road trip with us! Memories for a lifetime! My mother-in-law (she is 86) spent her first 7 years living and her family farming on the Hill Cumorah. We are hoping to make it back there sometime. And I was so excited to see Lisa and Kristen! Thanks for sharing this with all of us!
Amazing recap of your trip! I can sense that you did, indeed, create memories that will last a lifetime for your family. So glad you were able to experience our east coast beaches! Beaches (when not during spring break! LOL) can be such healing places - the water, sound of the waves, the warm sand... sigh. Loved all the different architecture that you showed during the trip. We have some amazing places in our country - so beautiful and rich with history. Thank you for giving us a glimpse!
It was very healing to be at the beach! Seeing the different architecture and landscapes was fascinating, especially moving through it so quick. We sure live in a beautiful country!
Cami, your faith is part of you, part of your essence. Never skip over this part of your life, I am Baptist and I don’t hold back on showing or speaking of my faith, not in a preaching or even confrontational or in your face way, just living my life according to my faith and praising our Lord and Savior and Creator as I do it. Loved seeing your vacation to so many areas that built our country from the east to the west! Thanks for letting us “come along” with you!
So close but yet so far! Lol. We live in the outskirts of York, Pa so you probably were a stones throw away! Glad you and your family had an amazing vacay! It was also sweet to see two of the influencers I also follow on here! Thank you for sharing! Blessings!
You have motivated me to visit Mt. Vernon! Although I'm a native Virginian I've never been and it looks amazing. Thanks for sharing your experience. It's so inspiring!
That’s a wonderful family road trip, and creating memories that you’ll never forget! My family has been to a lot of the same historic sights like Nauvoo, the sacred grove, Kirkland Temple, and Williamsburg. 🤍
Cami, this was a great video. Your family has memories for a lifetime now. I live in NY, about 30-45 minutes from Susquehanna, I would’ve loved to run into you! I hope your family had a wonderful trip 😊
Oh how I wish I’d have known you were in Nauvoo!! I’m not too far away and would’ve loved to have met you wonderful family. Thanks for taking us on your trip with you, very fun.
What a wonderful trip! I live in MD and know how lucky I am to be surrounded by so much history and beautiful places. You should have stopped by to see the Washington DC Mormon Temple. We use to think it was Disney land as kids. I am not Mormon but many of my friends are and say it is a must to visit. I am a huge history buff and love of the architecture and décor of early America. I lived in Massachusetts until 5th grade then the rest of my life in MD so I grew up with dreams of going west and seeing the places made famous by the brave souls that ventured west. Funny how we do that isn't it.? LOVE Kristen and can't wait to see her new little girl. Happy 4th of July! 🎆🎇
Hi from southeast Missouri! I love that we got to see your real trip, even the part to get through, not just the highlights that make it look exciting all the way. Ive always wanted to get an rv and take my kids traveling. Since that is not something we can afford to do, nor can we leave our animals, I enjoy watching other families travel and learning about the places we have not seen.
Do you think you could do a video on what to look for in buying an older motor home? Also if you feel it was cheaper than staying in hotels? If y'all had any problems on the road and maybe some tips? We are looking into buying one and would love your thoughts!!
What a fun trip with your family! Going by RV was a great idea...a long road trip, but you sure had a great plan in place for the adventures... the ocean.... aaahhhh... we live on the West coast of B.C.,... close to Vancouver, B.C. Canada,... we are within a 45 minute drive of the ocean, and can easily take that for granted... and aren't we all thankful for the freedom to speak of, and share... our faiths... although they may all be different... we should not be in judgement of each other... but accept and love each other... I have a feeling we will all be a bit surprised at who we meet in Heaven!!!!
Beautiful feet books (homeschool curriculum company) has a history unit called History of the Horse! It would be perfect for her if she’s interested in horses :)
Love this so much!!! Thanks for sharing your road trip with us! Memories for a lifetime! My mother-in-law (she is 86) spent her first 7 years living and her family farming on the Hill Cumorah. What a gift to live near the Hill Cumaroh! It was beautiful and so rich in history. I bet she has some great stories and experiences. Thank you for spending time with me today Katie.
