Over a course of several days, i built this little library and i‘m so happy with the result! Easy tutorial on how i make my books: • How i make miniature b... My instagram: @kath.arsis Music: • BlockBuster 🎥 No Copyr...
I agree. She should speak every once in a while would clarify her method and techniques. Her English is very, very good. I am in San Francisco, California and can understand her very well.
This is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I loved it. Personally, I much prefer it when creators of any kind explain what they are doing. Your voice and English are wonderful so there’s no need to be self-conscious.
I know you asked the question a year ago now but I totally agree with this comment (except I've just watched the little room video and loved it). Your attention to detail and the ability to make 738 tiny little books!! leaves me speechless! Your English is great and a little explanation here and there (doesn't have to be all the way through the video) would be great - and save you having to type a lot of replies. Your music is great too. Thank you!
This was the first video of yours I've watched. I really enjoyed it. Props for sticking to making enough books without giving up. I look forward to any other videos of yours.
This project looks great. The individual books look very nice and I think the effect is worth the extra time. In my opinion you should speak as much as you feel comfortable with in your videos. This style is relaxing to watch and your English was easy to understand so more talking is fine too. I really enjoyed this video.
You have such attention to detail! So meticulous. I adore how you aged the maps. And each candle is so realistic that I feared one misplaced candle might burn down the library lol! I can’t wait to see more of your videos
Incredible work! Absolutely love how soothing the videos are and I don't think you speaking every now and then would interrupt that vibe at all! Your English is really good too, no need to be embarrassed.
Your English is beautiful and there is no need to be shy about it!🌟. This is the first time I have seen one of your videos and it was really amazing how you did this!
My goodness that is gorgeous. I love how you angled the mirror to create the reflection. I bet you *were* going nuts making books. I just finished a bookshop, and (right now anyway) *never* want to make another book again. Your English was perfect. This was my first video I've watched of yours, but I enjoyed you talking in it.
Perfect amount of music. Perfect amount of talking! And perfect amount of detail into an amazingly pleasing little diorama! Wish I could place it on my own library bookshelf in-between some of my favorites!
Great video! The combination you create with chill music and your building makes it very watchable. I think you have a great voice, & your English is excellent. I know that it can be difficult to find the right word sometimes, but you could always edit out any mistakes later or leave them in--you're human & mistakes are part of learning. Alternatively, you could type up an FAQ with answers to the most frequently asked questions you get about your techniques and building supplies and link to it in your videos. Then you could just talk about special techniques used on the specific project featured in a video. Whatever you do, please keep making these videos. I am so happy to have found your channel.
Это была самая достоверная работа из всех, виденных мной ранее! Кропотливый труд, невероятная точность! Восхищаюсь вашим подходом к творчеству!!!!!!❤️🔥
I just found you, and I love your work! I'm an ESL teacher, and your English is fantastic!! I would love more commentary such as thickness of cardboard, what you use for book covers, and dimensions of your build. Thanks!!
Another ESL teacher here - certainly your English is excellent! Not to mention your talent is through the roof... omg. Thanks so much for filming this!
This was such a gorgeous creation. I love miniatures and I love books and this is just absolutely lovely to watch. Wish I was hard working enough to create my own but alas I’m too lazy.
I just discovered your videos today, and you, with nerdforge , are my two favourite artists producing miniatures. I enjoyed your calm, measured, speaking voice. I look forward to more videos. Cheers.
I don't think I would have the patients nor the steady hands to do it. You are a very talented artist and I really love your work plus attention to detail. Keep at it you are a master of your craft!!
I do not know HOW I had the luck of having your channel, but I'm gobsmacked at your detail & TALENT! Not only is your work incredible, but you chose such un-obnoxious music to go with it. I feel soothed & inspired!
Viel Erfolg weiterhin!
Your English is perfect. I think whatever makes you more comfortable to do when it comes to explaining while you do stuff or just doing it without talking. I just love watching artists silent or talking.
Yes, talk, explain, please do that! Your English is nearly perfect, you speak better than many native speakers. Do not let that stop you. Your project is amazing, I am so inspired.
I never would have guessed that English is a second language for you. You're very well-spoken and easy to uunderstand. Please do speak often, to clarify techniques. I enjoy your videos!
Wow! By far one of my favourite book nook designs, the individual books took you a long time to make, but we’d definitely worth it! As for your English, I don’t think you have anything to worry about there, you come across clear and well spoken. Looking forward to seeing your other projects!!
What an absolute Masterpieces in Miniature. Your work is astonishing. I can't imagine the total time invested in your Library. It should be displayed in the Smithsonian or somewhere Spectacular for all the world to see. I enjoyed the sound of your dialect. You sound more English than most English speaking people in America. You do you and continues to shine. Happy New Year, 2023. May you be protected in all ways. Thanks for sharing your incredible talents and hard work.
no real objection to voiceovering, but i do enjoy just watching the work with the music in the background. the captions suffice for explanations. too many YTers think they have to talk endlessly. i love how you transform bits of paper, wood, cardboard, etc, into these dioramas.
Hi! Your work is amazing and inspiring!!! I think your English sounds great to me!!! So, no need to feel self conscious) some explanation would be helpful- especially for materials; however I really enjoyed the relaxing music and just watching you work. Text was helpful! 1. My questions: what material are you using for the walls (outside structure)? 2. What material are you using to wrap the book covers over, was that same wood as shelves? Many, many thanks!!!
You could try out both. An intro or outro with explanation of your materials (/etc if it's not too complicated). I found this current style a bit refreshing, nice music to listen to while watching the processes happen, since I also watch North of the Border and he's full of entertaining commentary. (Also how I ended up finding this - I looked for Book Nooks after watching two of his videos, and when I saw "Library" I went yas.) I also have to say, this makes me kinda want to try and make a portion of the Sharlayan Library from FFXIV lol
This is the first video of yours I watched. I was looking for a complete Book nook creation with books and yours was the best. I like when everything is made rather than assembled from a kit. Keep it up. You are blessed.
hi, I've seen two of your videos now and I think your amazing. Question what do you use for the miniature book covers? and talk if you want too. I like to watch you work. all the best Anita
Thank you so much, i appreciate you being here! For the miniature books, i use very tiny photos of book covers that i printed out. I purchased a digital file with book covers on Etsy and i‘m very happy with them. :)
Applauds from Japan. It's just amazing... I love to see you both making miniature stuff and talking about it, by the way. Your work let me imagine someone in your small library. Your English is also fantastic.
Wow! Amazing work! I just discovered this video tonight and think it’s truly awesome. And yes, the non-chatty vibe is cool, but I also enjoyed hearing from you. As for your English? You’re a pro! Don’t let that stop you if you want to talk. I understood everything you said and think it’s awesome that you did this in your non-native language! Seriously. You are awesome!
You are my favorite person ever!!! I can’t wait to learn so much more from you!!!! You are so talented ❤ I am so blown away and proud of your patience and creativity! You are incredible, keep that shit up. You have made my whole day just seeing you make something so beautiful. I appreciate you ❤
Thank you! The long line of book covers glued onto cardboard and then cut apart is really smart, at first glance I was imagining painting them all or trying to glue them individually.
A mix of both, moments of you on camera & voice over. But it's all very easy to follow & not every country gets the same materials, what you do & the way you do it shows me I can use things I can get in Australia. Lots to videos I'd have to go online order from overseas, pay huge shipping costs and hope to heck they get here & I live in a small country town!!! So thank you, very much for making me believe I can do it too!!!😊🤗😘👍💖❤️💋🇭🇲
I am not sure why your video popped up on my feed but I am so glad it did. When I saw this nook I thought it was a life-size nook as I just came from my friends house today who I haven’t seen in a year and he built one in his house and it looks almost identical to this. Anyway, I know that English is not your first language but you speak so beautifully and have an incredible voice and I would love to hear how you describe some of your processes of what you are doing. Please don’t be self-conscious as I think this is an adorable quality. Anyone who can take on other language other than their native language are very brave. You should hear me speak Spanish. I am very self-conscious but I still try.
I just found your channel. You're so creative. As far as the speaking part goes, whatever you feel comfortable. Your English is perfectly fine, and I find your voice to be incredibly soothing to listen to. But just whatever you feel comfortable with.
You have a soft, clear voice which is easy to listen to. If descriptions are not too uncomfortable for you and it does not become an editing hassle for you, by all means add your instructive voice. I love the precision and dedication you are exhibiting.
A true show of dedication to your work. Keep it up and don't be discouraged: time and patience will pay off eventually. You're already skillful, you can only get better ^^
OF COURSE I personally want u to talk. Your voice is lovely, ur English is excellent and u have a sweet humble spirit. I LOVE watching u work and ur detail always amazes me. Big hugs from Upstate NY.❤❤❤
Please, I love hearing an artist explain their methods and techniques. It helps me when I go to make my own miniatures, if I understand how someone else has dealt with these issues.
I have just found your channel. English is my only language-- your English is very good and I enjoy hearing your voice along with the music and speed of putting the project together. I would enjoy learn working in miniature. Wi)) keep watching for ideas and hoping you explain more. Thank you 😊
First-time viewer here, don't worry about talking in your videos, your accent is adorable and it makes you unique. Do it if it comes naturally, people will ask questions in the comments if they want to find out about something you didn't mention. :)
Fascinating! No need to be self-conscious about your English. It is certainly better than my German. I’ve always been fascinated by miniatures, one of the reasons I’m attracted to model railroading. I wish my craftsmanship was even half as good as yours.
Your English is very good, your voice is very pleasant and the background music you choose is soothing, so yes I would love to hear you describe and/or explain what you’re doing. It’s nice to have a healthy balance of both visual instruction and voiceover instruction.
Thanks Katharina really enjoyed this first vid of yours I've seen guessing many more please, also please explain the process easy listening and very relaxing you make it look easy.
Your English is really good and your voice is soothing. IMHO talk some but don't feel pressured, let it feel natural to you. This is the first video of yours I found and look forward watching many more.
This is the first time that I see you!. RU-vid algorithm: well done!!! In my opinion you can talk as much as you feel confortable. Love it…. Now in Spanish (I’m from Mexico): bravo, maravilloso trabajo!Well done
You have a beautiful voice and a wonderfully pleasing accent and your English is perfectly pleasing. And your videos are amazing. You should be proud. Bravo 👏
Art supplies are to me like cooking ingredients. You lay ‘em down and get ‘cooking’ on projects. Thanks for the idea of diluting Acrylics. I’m gonna try that.
Your work is exquisite. Your voice is soothing and will only add for those who need it. And it would help with the instructions as well as making it an enjoyable video. Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing your art.
Your English is a pleasure to hear. Talking about something you learned in the process of creating might be very helpful to creators and pleasant to listeners. Possibly creating a break for you and the viewer. Just like the commentary in this vlog. Thank you for your work.
