making beats with the notes i don't like _ stepping out of the comfort zone I have love for everyone that opened this video with an open mind. Thank you for stopping by my brain today. Talk to me in the comments!
You are the absolute best man thank you so much for your help. I have so much more to say but ill tell you when im at the top. Thank you for helping me to sit down and make a beat no matter how im feeling! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I can never leave a nick mira video without feeling inspired, watching your creative process makes me feel like i can cook up whenever, even if im not in the most creative space.
Hey nick you have been one of my many inspos from IM and mira touch im 12 and been proding for 11 months now thank you so much from your tuts to your stream on helping me learn how to produce
When you were younger, you looked happier. I hope everything is perfectly fine in your life and I'm mistaken. You have always been so inspiring to me. Thank you so much for everything❤❤
for almost half of the video I wasn't feeling it, maybe just as you since you were using notes you dont like. When You add hi hats and clap it started to sound interesting and at the end it turned out to be really good beat. Great video
Yessir just purchased the buy one get two tracked out Wav had to turn it into a reality. I can let you know when I plan to release the songs theyre going to be wavy for sure !
Strangely the “wrong” notes sounded more intriguing than the predictable placements. reminded me of gospel changes. some chords sound uncomfortable until the following chord makes it make sense
Damn I rly like how this one turned out the emotional vibe of the melody could be new carti where it feels grungey to how pop trap usually sounds (dont shoot me for this take im not much of a carti fan lol)
About steping out of your comfort zone, i realized thinking "flexibility" is a better way to put it for me, so it's not breaking ou of t no shell or anything like that exactly . But becoming more balanced. I want to do a long ramble to explain it, but simply think pausing to think a bit before you commit is key Buts its much easier to do what vibes and what you feel, but i write a long songs and it is needed for me to like care how i want the audidence to feel and not just express a vibe I feels But i like it best when everything naturally comes together tho
well said and also important to note everyone expresses music differently. I like to self express through music and let the listener observe yet not make something only thinking of the listener at the time. just going w my personal gut feeling and taste
does anyone know the hot key that cuts the notes down to match the beginning of the next note. its like doing shift + D and then ctrl + L kinda, i see it in every cook up and dont really know how to search for it.
Toxic Biohazard. I use to think it was ass back then, and I recently opened it up to find out it's not that bad. LOL! It be like that. I guess it depends what kind of prespective you are in, where things seem different at different times, but it's more of just change of preference even though the subject in question, is the same.
The beat is an L compared to all your masterpieces you cook up with no effort. Although i love how you narrate through out the whole video. And i end up taking notes coz you inspire so much in me. Next beat im stepping out of my comfort zone
Why don't you get a music theory plugin just to see what notes are in each scale ? They also help you put chords together that sound good. I would recommend Scaler 2 from Plugin Boutique.
doesnt fl studio just have that built into the piano roll?? also the whole point of the video is that he uses notes he thinks sounds weird. usually those keys are out of scale but by applying some music theory knowledge he can still make it sound good.
@@AykesMusic it can detect scales and put every note you hit in scale. It also has every scale that you can think of. Scales usually have 7 notes that fit into each with some exceptions . there are much more scales than Major and minor .
the way you flipped that melody you did was absolutely crazy. was there anything you added that you didnt show? it feels more cohesive and wider around the 7:25 mark. love your videos, you inspire me
