Hey everyone! Hope your Saturday is going well. Thought I'd upload this video a bit sooner especially since we're all staying in home now. I'm trying a new recipe for dinner and curling up with my Kindle. What are you guys up to?
Jenn Im hi Jenn, are the white strappy sandals from your Eggie shoot available on your shop? can you share workout routine for toned (elongated) legs/body?
Making a covid-19 wellbeing guide to help people go through this stressful situation and going to sleep in a bit ! Sending you lots of love & blessings💗
@Blake Superman If you truly live by that philosophy you'll find that you can't support yourself and living in poverty, no matter how much in the moment, isn't fun. It's a balance, hard work and self-care together. Some people even find their work therapeutic
Random thought: It's not about being old and being exciting about homeware. Most of the young people can't afford their own house and so in that case some people are not very into even decorating the space they do not own, same with other home stuff. It's usually when you get older, you get some money and are able to afford your own place. So maybe that's why old = exciting about plates.
yeah i kinda hate when people say that it's like saying yeah i'm older than you i have more life experiences than you lol (but i know Ben didn't mean it like that) i'm 22 and i love homeware too i live alone so i like to decorate the house the problem is just exactly like you said i couldn't afford too expensive but beautiful ones lol
Your vlogs are so wholesome, I always save them for the end of the day when I start to wind down for the day, so nice to sleep thinking about ways to better myself
I just love how Jenn and Ben are so comfortable and well suited for each other, you can just tell their relationship is built on trust and a lot of love, they're literally two halves of the same soul!
Hey Jenn - Love how you spoke about feelings being related to our mindset. Our relationships with our bodies and food are based in our minds. Our perception and interpretation are important and we all need to be mindful of it. It's great to see you experimenting with new things (in general) to further your growth, it goes to show that we need to try new things, learn new things, and gain knowledge to find out what works for us. In all areas of life, it is trial and error, we can narrow down the experimentation but we all need to experiment and not get discouraged or disheartened if something doesn't work out. Go in with an open mind, give it a shot, step back and reflect, evaluate and then move forward. Great vlog as always x p.s I love Heinz beans too!
Jane, I have been watching you since college. You're such a influence in my life. I watch your channel during my hard days, happy days. I made mistakes in my life, which leading me to where I am today. Life is hard and full of challenges and heartbreaks, thank you for making it better for me.
Being in a toxic environment surrounded by negative vibe all the time. This few minutes is all I needed. Jen always give out such a good vibe, you instantly lift me up on to a better spirit.
I've never thought I'd love seeing you learning Korean language (or any language at all) this much! You go, Jenn! Would LOVE to see your progress and, hopefully, one day, get to see you doing a makeup tutorial in Korean! 💗💗💖💝
Hey Jenn, I’ve been following your vlogs since I got back to China from America three years ago. Watching your vlogs bring me back to my old self so many times in a good way. And you are doing something that inspires me so much and make me want to live my life more positively and lively. ;) so, a BIG thank you!
I love your how document areas in which you are trying to learn, grow and nourish your body, soul and mind. I'm also beginning this journey where I reflect and try to incorporate healthy habits in my life. Love your videos x
I really appreciate the positivity and transparency you show your viewers:)) your videos always make me realize that we aren’t alone in this world and motivate me to work hard and live harder
I love your vlogs, especially when you talk about random stuff, books, apps, streching! Omg you help me improve myself and my quality of life thank you!
Thanks for addressing your Korean... I always went to Korean school when I was young but ever since graduating my vocab has been stuck at a 5th grade level. I used to be too lazy and avoided watching korean shows, korean news, or reading korean books but now I’m watching and consuming more korean content and it has definitely helped. Definitely took a while for me to address and admit to myself, but took it upon myself to challenge myself and have more deeper-than-surface-level korean conversations to improve. It’s all about confidence!”’
idk what it is about your videos, but they’re so relaxing to me and your entire presence just makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed. definitely needed this during these dark times, personally and globally. thank you jenn 💓
Jenn i just want to express no matter the success rate you reach, you have never failed to guard your level of relatability for your viewers !! I love it, so thank you so much
Hey, Jenn! As for learning another language, the best method for me was to watch my favorite TV show(using that language) over and over again. If you enjoy watching K-dramas or Korean TV shows, this could be another way of learning(not studying!) Korean without any burden! Hope this can give you a hint!🥰 I always love your videos!❤️ Have a happy weekend!
So happy your stretching! It has helped me so much. With mental health, anxiety, and physical health. I noticed a much better stretch and almost like a mental cleanse when I really incorporated focus on breathing and breathwork while I did it. You just get so much more into your body and outta the discomfort of stretching.
Tracking calories back in highschool made me go into cycles of binge/purging and changed the way I see food. It took me a long time to get back to having a "normal" and "healthy" relationship with food, so thank you for sharing with us your thoughts too :)
I totally understand you when it comes to that “fuck it” mentality about food. I am still working on that myself. You should try out noom! It uses psychology based information to help you have a better relationship with food. I’ve been using it for quite awhile now. It helped me see health in a new light. P.S. I loved your reaction to your new bowl lol “Woooooah”
You should try a food/activity journal: write what you eat during the days + add notes about how the food made you feel (energized, bloated...) and the level of activity of that day (walking, working out...)
I’ve always loved your vlogs, but these past few have been sssoooo motivating for me. You’ve gotten so real with us, and watching you grow and learn has made me want to do the same. I’ve been in a little bit of a slump lately, so thank you for this newfound motivation!!
Can we all just appreciate how healthy this woman is. Even though we all struggle with health- let that be physical, mental, or social- I feel like watching Jenn pushes you to confront yourself about your indulgence and negativity. It's not about getting it right, but to not stop trying to do so. we love you Jenn you are the purest soul on this platform
This turned out to be very different than what I was expecting and I’m very happy because it’s even better than I expected. I hope I am making sense lol basically I just love your vlogs and the energy you put into the world so thank you for sharing your life with us, Jenn 🥲
The same thing just happened to me with counting calories. I recently got the Fitbit Versa2 and started tracking everything. After two weeks I realised it would lead me into an eating disorder if I continued like this so I stopped!
If you struggle with calorie counting, highly suggest counting your macros. Pretty simple and googling your macros intake based on your fitness goals it pretty easy as well. It’s more forgiving and it worked really well for me!! It’s fun (kinda) because my fitness pal scans the barcode and automatically uploads the macronutrients for you and tracks it!
Seeing all those full shelves in the supermarket makes me feel bad for the time I took it for granted. Right now in Germany we have empty shelves regarding pasta, toilet paper and canned food. Feels somehow apocalpytic
I’m been obsessed with homeware since I moved for college at the age of 18 😂 it’s fascinating especially wooden ones 😍😍 love your energy Jen, this was so cute and fun to watchh, the editing is always on point 🙌🏽👌🏽💖
Love to see hanbok in your vlog :) picture of your husband's dad looks like Beatles ;) haha Always love to see you living so lively :) great positive energy 👍
I feel ya on the speaking another language and working it enough that your family understands what you're saying. I've felt like that with my spanish that when i talk to my mom's family they can get most of what i'm saying but i know its like grammatically all over the place.
I could relate to that so much! My family is used to it and can understand me but I have such anxiety speaking to anyone outside my family in my second language. Grammar is all over the place and I always think no one would understand me
I’m pretty sure you got this a lot but truthfully from my heart, you inspire each day to be the best I can be. This period hadn’t been easy for me, dealing with a lot of issues but you’re truly someone who I look up to to find positivity and just plain love ❤️ so thank you so much for always being you
My mom bought me an Apple Watch for my graduation gift! And at first I didn’t appreciate it enough because I thought it was just an extension of my phone notifications AND it’s attached to my arm. (I was afraid that I could not get a technology break.) But now after almost a year of using it, I love it! My car is older so it does not have a Bluetooth system, but the Apple Watch lets me change my music (of course at red stop lights) and the haptics for maps directions are amazing! I don’t have to scramble and quickly glance at my phone on the road anymore, so it makes me and everyone around me safe when I drive! I don’t utilize of the activity wheel, but I did think it was funny when I went to a concert IN THE PIT and my exercise, standing, and movement went twice around the circle!! Your girl was standing at 3 am in the morning till 12am the next day. It was very much worth it. I hope you’re doing okay and staying safe. Recently just bought a few items from Eggie! And I can’t wait to wear them :D Love your content so much! Have a wonderful afternoon and evening~! uwu P.S. also for a challenge, maybe one day, when you’re more comfortable and confident, do a whole video of you speaking in korean!! I love the way korean sounds and I also love your voice! Endure the pain of learning :D
Jenn your videos are always so motivating and inspiring to watch! I love watching you take the steps to improve your lifestyle! ♥ If you're going for trying to touch your toes, you may have some tightness in your hamstrings and hip flexors. Can't wait to see more of your growth!! ☺
Hey Jenn, if possible could you please do a video on tips and tricks of taking care of a dog. Things you have that are helpful or different ways you exercise cheeky etc.
OMG I've always been very inflexible too!! But after I started my first job, I feel like it's very easy to get myself stressed and get body aches because for office workers, we do sit for a long time... That's when I started doing some stretching mat exercises at home!! Then I feel so contented when I'm now capable of doing some poses that I couldn't before!! ^^ Anyway, that's a good start Jenn!! Hang in there!!
i really recommend you find some activity that you genuinely enjoy! i personally love to dance and i stay fit because i love to take dance classes but i don't ever think about "wanting to stay fit" i just really enjoy dancing. and with foods, i think it's all about what makes you feel good, rather than calories
RE: Korean lessons - something that really helped me to catch on to Korean grammar structure is to think like Yoda. His syntax is really similar to Korean syntax (his way of speaking was actually modeled after Japanese syntax, which is very similar)! And with language learning, I hope you will stay positive and keep going! Usually progress with language learning consists of rapid increases alternated with plateaus! So if you feel like you are at a plateau, don’t be discouraged and stick with it because you are about to shoot up and progress soon ^_^ you’re gonna do great!
This was mega wholesome, please throw in as many bits of food content as you can, as it's super informative and fun (I'm a full time content creator too, and I've noticed everyone is jumping on this, and it's always been my favourite things to watch, as well as vlogs)
Jenn, I like your personality, style, and your channel. Can you please make a video about planning/journaling? I like to be organized so I bought a journal but couldn't do much with it -even after watching some YT videos-. I feel you could deliver the idea more easily and effectively, thanks.
Hi Jenn, I’m Ell, Korean, living in London. Love your channel 💗💗💗 everything here reminds me of shinny sunny days in LA (used to live there 15yrs ago) - and the Korean mart looks a lot better than the ones in the past.😆👍👍👍 have a lovely Sunday😘🌸💕
I feel the exact same with MyFitnessPal. My housemate has been dieting lately and it made me want to track so stop me binge eating or eating badly when in lockdown. I feel like I have become too obsessed with the calorie counter and like you said it also affects my mood or stops me eating food I used to enjoy after seeing how calorific it is. I guess if you aren't someone who is putting on a lot of weight constantly then it's a little unnecessary. The feeling fat thing I also get, especially on days were I am bloated too, like my whole face feels bigger even... it's weird.
Stretching is extremely important for the body! I'm glad you're making an effort, just remember that it's not all about being more flexible but rather the way your body feels when you're breathing correctly while you're stretching!
Would love to see a glam/make up room tour video. It looks so beautiful. I’m currently making my room up and could use some inspiration. Where did you get the pink roses decor. Much love 🌸
Love you girl! So proud of your commitment to your health and mentality ❤️❤️❤️ I tried YogaWithAdriene’s 30 days of yoga. It really helped. I def felt stronger and more flexible at the end. (Doing it in combo with Cassey is like fitness cocktail heaven) 💪💪💪
Got my first Apple Watch recently, and oh my! I’ve been obsessed (in a good way) with my activity tracking ever since. I’m inspired, kind of. As for food - intermittent fasting is a thing for me now (well, I’m just skipping breakfast). I hate counting calories, yet I’m not like a fast food lover or something, so I just eat what I want and feel great (even lost some kilograms). Back to the watch - love love love tracking my gym session with my watch, there is something magical and motivating in this colorful rings and screens. So yeah, Apple Watch lover here.
So the cut in the salad set is there for a reason. When taking the salad from the bowl, with the set, it is possible for excess liquid/water from the salad to run off / out. Furthermore, it is a way to see that it is a salad set and not just ordinary spoons. Love your enthusiasm :-D
I was NEVER able to touch my toes but last year I started doing yoga and now I can touch the ground so easily! You will see results in a few weeks! I promise!
I'm currently studying to be a yoga teacher and have been thinking a lot about touching your toes in a forward fold. Just by looking at you I would suggest just softening in you front hip joints. That won't get you all the way down but may help. It looks like your folding stops at the hips and I would suggest allowing your butt to go back and up so you can continue folding from that space.
You got this Jenn! Trying to grow to be in a healthier relationship with my body and eating & exercising too. Has been a rough journey, but we're in it together!
