@@Isleofcatzif you thought that was genius you must not be able to do any critcal thinking or problems solving on your own.. tons of people can follow intricate instructions, but the moment they need to improvise something, be creative, or come up with their OWN opinion they all of a sudden turn into a radish. I call it "gen Z syndrome". P.s. I was born in 91
@@spencerkleiman5035bro wtf are you on about ive been watching smiths/craftsmen for years and haven’t seen someone use paint as a stencil till this video💀 you are tweaking

Know your bite handle by the feel of the locking switch and never cut yourself out of safe handling technique before every trick learned. Have fun and be safe guys.
@@crowcarmichael2917absolutely and also be aware that your sick razor sharp edge that you spent so much time on will cut anything and everything including you extremely easily
Forging the shape will only make it stronger, not sharper…. Unnecessary step. Most knives you buy will be cut from a blank. If your knife is forged it will be way more expensive. There are a few different markets for knives
Grind to shape vs forged has basically nothing to do with hardness. And in all reality, there isn't much benefit that is likely to be seen by the end user in forging modern steel into knives. It technically results in a stronger blade, but the heat treatment and geometry will habr more of an affect on overall strength
How sharp u can make It mostly depends on the metal and how it's treated.. But it's ok not to no everything.. nowadays everyone want to act like they know everything.. there's Alot about making knifes I don't know I only ever made 4 still learning
Good to know. Modern metals do have massive advantages which never having made (or been allowed to make as my wife is convinced I would burn the house down 😂) I honestly never really thought about it. 😇
It's not a test of sharpness, it's a test of hardness. Glass will dull pretty much any steel (with a knife edge) within a couple of passes. But a properly hardened peice of steel will score glass easily, regardless of it's sharpness.
Dude, it's really nice, but in our country, there are 2 stoppers in the butterfly knife, the stopper is the stoppers in our country so that the butterfly or any knife does not cut the hand, you put 1 piece, there should be 2
my own personal opinion as someone who has made a balisong before, glue in some leather strips on the inside of the handle where the blade makes contact. it keeps it quieter and prevents dulling of the blade :)
