The gameplay has improved massively trying new cars with cheaper prices and overall it's turning out to be good in mechanics as in the gameplay feeling good , what has to come next is more variety in the maps, score enhancers or more ways to make coins, good good good job!

Also, a quick change that I'd love to see would be to change the score to coin conversion factor to something like a factor of 19 or 17 to make it feel a bit more generous. 19 in particular would be nice, cause it would mean that scores would essentially round up instead of rounding down. I feel like creating that type of artificial disconnection between score and coins would just feel better in general though.
I don't know if it is on purpose or not but when going on the jumps in rally with a slower car they don't give points even when drifting. Not sure if it is a bug or feature. Great game and awesome work. Keep it up.
Straight roundabouts in the city map have the surfaces flipped. I drift on a normal piece of road - it has white smoke on the road and black on the grass. Right when I enter a straight roundabout it flips and I immediately loose all traction and go flying into a building or an imaginary transparent wall...

Oh no. This is definitely not supposed to happen. I'll take a look into this asap. Update: Found the issue. I'll get onto it now. You will likely loose some highscores. A big mistake on my end.
Only one surface is considered. The object used is from WheelCollider.GetGroundHit. From the docs: "The reported hit is always the closest one." docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/WheelCollider.GetGroundHit.html
The old camera was better than the current and made it easier to do 360s especially on rally at high speeds, also, would it be possible to make the leaderboards clearer or atleast show your global ranking
Please optimize it more and add a fixed control setting because it's tricky for me to always have to drag the screen from the center, sometimes i do a quick movement and end up dragging from a bit more to the sides and as a result the rest of the control is outside my screen, impossible to turn the wheel at higher angles when that happens
Hello sadly i have an huawei phone so i cant downald the app from those stores but lucikly for me its on apkpure so I got it there and I was amazed how funny it is. Its simple, easy to learn and fun game, everything u need to have on mobile, after this update its more balanced also but one think I cant find: Is there any way to center the steering? happens to me that i click not precisly to the center and then i cant use full turn to one side?
Does the game take into acount the differneces in 4wd and 2wd handling when drifting? In addition, is weight transfer simulated to assist with transfering between angles/corners?
The score in a given update is calculated with the drift angle, speed, and multiplier. The multiplier is built up by drifting. * The more angle and speed, the faster the multiplier increases * The multiplier gets harder to increase the higher it gets (e.g. 1 -> 2 is easy, 3 -> 4 is hard) * Not drifting, decreases the multiplier
I've been enjoying this game. I'd like to know how the savegame works. On my Pixel 4 XL the cars and tracks are saved, but not the high scores. I lose my PBs every tone I exit the game.
Yes, that’s a bug that I introduced without realising a couple of days ago. I’ve since patched it. The update should be available on Android now. As for how it works, at certain stages of the game (game over, purchases, etc) a load of primitives and dictionaries of primitives are serialised and written to local storage. They’re then read in when the game is opened. When I was developing some bits, I set the high score to load in as zero and it slipped past review.
@@jonathonhowe The update fixed the savegame issue 👍 Now there's a new bug: the tarmac on straight-over roundabout sections is coded like grass. Very slippy and can't score points on it. Man I love this game!
do you have a spot for feedback? such as a discord server maybe, or something else. the new update is definitely for the better, but I've found some bugs with specific parts of it that could heavily effect a users score. or even if you already know about them, id still love to see dev progress like that as well.
@@jonathonhowe I don't think the physics have switched, but the Quattro will do drifting donuts and still score points. It takes skill to achieve over 2,000 points this way, so I'd say it's not a bug.
i would like to report a bug, on wangan with a car like the rally car you can drift in circles for a while (up to around 2000 points) for infinite time if you could patch this that would be good
While the optimization is a lot better, removal of the option for low graphics is not appreciated. Could you please bring it back for us budget phone users?
After I removed ambient occlusion, the only difference between low and high graphics was colour adjustment, a very cheap calculation. Because of this, there was negligable difference in frame rate. Are you noticing a difference in frame rate?

Yeah I have noticed that. I plan on building out what I call "gameplay spice". Ways of getting bonuses by doing extra cool things, like long drifts, jumps, combos etc. I think that will help address this
I like the game i play it sometimes when i am bored but there are some problems 1. How could High graphics make all phones have 5 fps like please optimise it wait no now there is no graphic setting again no problem! 2. I can click a little bit to the left of the lock and play the map for free without grinding for it same i updated the game problem gone 3. I do not have combo yet it was shown 5 months ago like i think its mine problem yup i just updated the game but but i earn points a LOT faster now! Still don't have combo :( 4. It takes so long to grind make the things cost 10% less or something 5. The game good i gave 5 stars same for the video the video :D
Thank you! Yes, they're all very good points. 3. The multiplier thing was an old feature, I've removed it and plan on expanding the score system to be much cooler are more arcade like. The multiplier shown in old videos still exists and affects your score, it's just not visible. 4. The plan is that the new multiplier/bonus system will fix this Important to note: I'm not certain when this will be implemented.
