Hi from a new subbie in Canada! 😸After looking at the video list of your projects, I just had to subscribe. These little charms are beautiful...good thing I have been saving packaging and food boxes! Lol I'll be making some of these for sure. I also cut flower & veggie pics from seed catalogues, and glue them onto packaging. I just can't throw away greeting cards either. Punching flowers etc. out of them, recycles those as well, and they often have pretty images. Thanks for the tutorial - and making mistakes is how we learn. Leaving them in a video shows us what NOT to do, so even that is helpful. Lol Off to watch more of your videos! 😺
Hello and welcome to the channel Anne! I'm really glad you liked the video and that it inspired you. Oh, we can use a lot of things around us, I never throw away anything anymore, lol. And no one in the house is allowed to throw anything unless I approve first 🤣. You never know what treasures can be found in the recycling bin🤣. Thank you so much for subscribing and watching and your lovely comment ❤️😊
❤ is beautiful work you doing but I will like if you can write for us what are you using from likvid . I have little problem to understand . Sorry is not you . Thanks for sharing and understanding 🙏
While I was watching this video I had a flashback thought to about 30 years ago when we made earrings just as you are making these charms cutting shapes, gluing or painting pictures on the shapes. Then we sealed our "charms" using clear embossing powder. Great memories and bringing forward the idea to use for a new craft that have just began to enjoy.
Oh wow, those earrings must have been so special and unique! I used to make these charms to go on a leather string to wear around the neck, but earrings sounds so much better! Thank you for bringing the idea forward. Love it! ❤️😊
These are really amazing!! If you place a piece of thick card on each side before placing the clips, it will prevent the clip from causing indentations on your charm. Thank you for sharing these!
as a junk journal creator, I have become a paper and packaging hoarder, I don't look at paper and packaging in the same way any more, even my husband now will save stuff for me, Lol, love the charms very good idea and thank you for sharing................
You're very welcome! I'm glad you liked the video. Oh, I totally get what you mean, my husband asks now if he can throw things out 🤣, and I'm glad he does because I saved a few interesting things for my crafts thanks would otherwise end up in the trash 🤣
I love these Dragana, what a great idea! I'm always saving my packaging and now I am inspired to make some of these. Putting them through the die cut machine was a great idea too, the distressed look is fantastic!
Thank you so much Pam! I'm really glad you liked the video. Distressing them with a die cut machine was a happy accident! I'm going to be using that technique on other things, too. ❤️😊
Just a quick tip from an older artist. Use toothpicks while applying varnish. Have a piece of flower arranging foam (the sort put into pot bottoms etc.) Stick each toothpick into this foam and let it dry UP and away from everything. You can dry many at one time, depending on the size of the piece of foam. Works great. Fun tips on making these little charms. thank you.
Just I was about to go to bed I see your latest video 🙈 Instead of going to bed now I would rather make these wonderful charms 😊 what a good idea to hang them on 💡👍🏻
Thank you so much Steffi! I'm really glad you got inspired! Sorry for disrupting you sleeping 😆 I'm like that most of the time! I'd rather craft than sleep 🤣
I could listen to your voice all day long! Makes watching your tutorials easy. I love it when tutor's don't have to talk every second. Spaces of silence are golden. Plus the added sanding sound is nice. Wow! Your journals! Watching more. This is my 1st of yours. Subscribed as soon as I heard your voice.
Aww, thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed the video. Sometimes I get so into crafting that I forget that I'm recording 😆, so I go silent. I'm glad you didn't mind. ❤️
This is such a cool idea…the charms look really pretty. I like the tip on using the pokey tool to hold the charm when you’re varnishing and the pin to hold it up whilst drying.✔️ I have actually been cutting small circle tags today, so I will leave my set out to make some charms. Awesome, thank you…♥️
You're most welcome! I'm really glad you liked the video and got inspired to make some charms. Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment. Much appreciated 😊❤️
These are so beautiful and made from the most simple material, I will definitely make some! Thank you so much for continuously sharing your talent . Your videos are always presented in such a calm ,soothing manner, so nicely presented. 🥰
I'm a new sub! I love these! I've done similar ones using napkins on book pages then glued it on packaging and punched it out... The little homemade charms always add such a lovely touch to any project! ❤️❤️
Hello and welcome to the channel! Glad to have you subscribed. Thank you so much! Napkins on book pages sounds great. I have to try that technique one day. I love charms, especially handmade ❤️❤️

Good Morning Dragana. Your video dropped into my feed today and l am so glad it did. Your charms are, well, "charming". Thank you for sharing your ideas; you have broken down the process, making your steps so easy to follow. I’m off now to watch more of your videos. Have a beautiful day, Barbara 🇦🇺 🦘
Good evening Barbara! Thank you so much for your nice comment. I'm glad you liked the video. I hope the weather is nice and warm in Australia, my home away from home ❤️😊
Ohh Dragana these charms are beautiful, thank you for sharing I was actually cutting up some packaging when I saw your video,so now I will be making some!xx
I am obsessed with making these charms!! I’m also making the plastic card charms using your digital. Stamps, stickers, images, book page - nothing is safe from me cutting, gluing, and varnishing. I even bought some colored mirrored cardstock yesterday to use for the backs like you’ve used the silver mirrored packaging on these. So much fun and they’re all just beautiful. I’m so glad I’ve been saving the plastic cards for years. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing creativity. ❤ I know there are many videos I haven’t seen yet that have more delightful ideas.
Wow! I'm so happy to know this! That's great! Glad you got inspired to create and have fun. Thank you so much for watching and for your nice comments. I enjoy reading them 😊❤️
wow! They look beautiful, and that's a GREAT tip re. putting them through the die cut machine later...an inspired idea that worked out even better! Thank you for showing the process, much appreciated! Such fun!
You are very welcome! I'm glad you liked the video. Using die cut machine was totally unplanned but it worked out for the better. Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment. Much appreciated! ❤️😊
Your charms are so beautiful! I love each one. Also, all your tips and ideas are so very helpful. I will be making some charms. Years ago I used similar techniques along with stamped and colored images to make pins to swap at rubber stamp conventions with fellow stampers. I remember loving the entire process of creating them. It was such fun! With your encouragement and your tutorial, I will definitely add these charms to my list. I think they would be perfect for even a charm bracelet. Pretty, pretty, pretty. Many thanks and wishes for happy winter holidays to you and yours. 🎄🎁🤶🏽🎅🏽🎉🥂🤩
Thank you so, so much! I'm very happy that you liked the video and the whole idea of making charms. Indeed, it's a lot of fun and I find it to be relaxing activity. I think they would look lovely on a bracelet. Excellent idea! I haven't tried making pins and now that you've mention it, I feel I should try that too. It sounds wonderful! Thank you again for watching and for this kind comment, I really appreciate it! All the best to you and your loved ones, too! ❤️🎄😊
Hi, I'm from Pennsylvania, USA. I love how you pressed your beautiful charms with your die-cutting machine. I did the same and what a lovely pattern it makes. I am so glad I kept my old plates. Thanks
You're very welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video. Old cutting plates are so useful for distressing the surface, and they don't create dust like sanding does. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! ❤️😊
You're very welcome Deborah! I'm glad you liked the video. I was pleasantly surprised when the embossing plates distressed the charms so perfectly. I'm glad you are going to try! Thank you for watching and for your kind comment ❤️
I’ve been looking for a little something to make for gifts at a Stitching Retreat ….. needle minders and scissor fobs would be gorgeous using this technique
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! I'm glad you like them. Yes, heavy book on top is an excellent idea. That would give a nice flat finish! ❤️😊
Hi, I am from the USA and just found your channel and a new subscriber. I just love it. Thank you for all your ideas. I know I am going to make some of these charms. :)
I am so happy that I found this video again. I had been looking for days 😊.. I am going to attempt to make some ..Thank you so much for sharing .. I am new to junk Journaling so everything is a little overwhelming but I am trying.
Gosh, the images of the ones you made in this video are so, so very beautiful. Only three days ago, I found the same wrapping paper that you have and bought it to make twinchies and tags. I`m so glad that I have it, otherwise, I would envy you so much :))) I love all your embellishments and tags. Thank you for the inspiration ❤ Have a nice weekend🤗
You're very welcome! I'm really glad you liked the charms and got inspired. That's awesome. Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment ❤️😊
Hello from Sweden ❤😊 These charms are indeed Lovely I love to make charms, paperclips etc for journals too. Your journals shown are absolutely Beautiful ❤️ Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring Saasibo and Happy new Year 🎆🎊😁🍾🥂
You can still use clips to hold the charms together as they dry. Just make a little protective folder out of some thick enough packaging to cover/protect the charm. Take the piece of packaging, fold it in half (like a small "folder"), slip the charm inside that folder, then clip. This will protect the drying charms from the clip marks. If you still see marks, either get a thicker piece of packaging or add another layer. ➡️ OR try using clothespins instead of the metal clips. They hold well but are not as tight so they leave little or no marks. ➡️ ALSO, if you already have "dent" marks, sometimes you can smooth or rub them out with the back of your fingernail, or a bone folder, or popsicle stick. ✅ (I use all of these tricks, all of the time, and they work very well.) And, BTW, your work is very nice.👏
