Line a baking sheet with saltine crackers. In a pan bring to a boil 1 cup of butter, 1 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp vanilla. Boil for 3 minutes until thickened. Pour the caramel over your crackers and smooth with a spatula. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. Caramel should be bubbling. Pour 2 cups of chocolate chips on top and cover with foil for 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate with a spatula and top with whatever toppings you like. We used sprinkles! Cool in the fridge completely and break into large pieces. Enjoy!!!!!
