I wish you had included the maestro mezcalero's name Gregorio Velasco in the bottle, he deserves that much credit for doing such a great job that's been passed down for generations and all the hard work that's involved: from picking up wild agaves, cooking them, trying each one and choosing the best quality ones. It's a lot of work!
Picked up a bottle today! I’m glad it is in Michigan. My boyfriend and I made this exact drink, super delicious! This was my first time trying Mezcal, and was amazed by the smoky flavor. If it wasn’t for you guys and Breaking Bad this experience would’ve never happened. Thank you (:
An alternative Breaking Bad ending: Jesse escapes to Alaska with his new identity, and Walt fakes his death at the site of the M60 incident, soon following Jesse to Alaska. After a somewhat hesitant and initially rocky reunion, Jesse and Walt spend years building a blossoming Mezcal business in Haines, AK. Eventually, once everyone starts to forget about Heisenberg and Cap'n Cook, believing they are both surely dead by now, they start becoming the public face of their new legal Mezcal empire. Together, they start to produce internet videos of how to mix cocktails with their now wildly popular drink and travel the world together whilst promoting their product. With the money Walt EARNED from his new business, he starts another round of treatments for his lung cancer, soon going into remission once again. Jesse starts to enjoy playing with a bit of fire, making subtle references to his previous alias by adding Chili P to his cocktail rims. Amazingly, no one ever catches on to who they really are, and they finally live happily ever after, whilst (kind of) within the bounds of the law.
it seems sad and ridiculous to me that a liquor that is made in Mexico by denomination of origin and that also that your fan base that you have since Breaking Bad, which is very large in Mexico, do not have the opportunity to buy your mezcal in this country... also you do not give the credit to the master mezcalero nor to the community where it is bottled... for a simple "espadin" it is very expensive.
