Trying my new mold with freezer paper. The first time I used this mold I used parchment paper and it didn't work out. Today I'm making my best seller cold process soap "Oatmeal. Milk and Honey" I'm doing a new water discount to prevent soda ash. Hopefully it works!

I really like the mold your husband made!! I soap at 18 % (1.2 "water" to 1 lye) and no soda ash! Your soap is beautiful!! ~jc

thank you! I used to soap at 33% but got a lot. Interesting that at 18% you don't get soda ash. It is such a mystery cause there's so many factors to it! Thanks for watching :)

Nice job with this soap, I place my soap in a polystyrene box or my eski after making it and do a water discount too and I've never had Soda ash yet. Your husband did a beautiful job making your mold and such a pretty stamp too.
