I really enjoyed the performance! It was so interesting to watch you build that driving rhythm from simple noise patches. This series on comparators has been quite instructive.
I guess you have been lurking around electro-music more than me but have you seen Nicholas ADSR? electro-music.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31473&postorder=asc He made a lot of interesting simple circuits
It's bartons. He has a lot of great designs. Kristian Blåsol I made one demo when j first finished it for RU-vid. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wIEzXclvWuE.html I have better ones once I got the hang of it on my Instagram: @ryanlarawk

Very nice also interesting that you seem to be able to pitch it with cv. Making into bass sound. Will definitely build as well. Is the stackable cables diy? I have also started looking into that.
Thanks! I use a logic AND-gate to turn gates into triggers by and-ing it with the clock. Maybe you could do that with the hi hat and snare to make them both snappy.
Are you using squares or short pulse triggers to trigger the drums? If a trigger goes through a divider (4040) it turns into a square again. I'm planning on making a divider with a square to pulse circuit on each output. The shorter the pulse, the snappier are drum envelope can be.

It needed triggers to work initially. But I added a simple gate to trig converter so gates could be used as I didn’t have any triggers (except the AD). For what you suggest a simple AD on the input would do that for you. The faster attack the snappier sound. I forgot those in the schematics yesterday but have updated it now so you can see how those works.
