I admire your work, as this life is tough on the body. Nice to see the help and support from wife and daughter.

Worked on my grandparents farm when I was a kid and loved it. Hay season was my favorite time, but man don't you get a good workout slinging them bales around lol. I remember my gramp slinging them things way up on the old 69 gmc 3 ton like nothing. The old guys were tough. Good job guys, and yeah last spring and summer was something else.

Ayup wouldn’t worry bout a quick shower like your old timer told ya, same thing I’d been told by the guy that taught me bout hayin 8 years ago, just shake it off and it be alright! Just got a Ford 501 sickle bar two days ago and she’s ready to go, a couple more nights of tinckerin and be ready to give it a whirl. Looks like you got some good fields! Lots of rocks down here, gunna be interesting!

my old square baler wouldnt pick up hay either, i took a small steel pipe and bent the end of the pickup tines slightly up and it worked perfect

Hey guys, just stumbled on your channel, I’m working midnights in a factory in the middle of winter dreaming of summer and hay making too. You sure impress me and I think you’re doing something great!

If it’s wet does it run the risk of rotting? Not a farmer in NC.

If it's wet and is put in the barn the hay can heat up and possibly burn the barn down and if it doesn't burn the barn down the hay will mold and then you just have a barn full of junk hay
