It's a Data Physicalisation project that Bahanenka Irina and I created for our Data Manifesto course in Moholy-Nagy University of Design and Arts. We invited people to participate in our "pond building" workshop in the park of MOME campus.
We wanted to raise the awareness on the threats to biodiversity that human explosion poses through the chemical algae control that dramatically affect the prevalence of several species, and particularly, amphibians and their tadpoles.
Our goal was to empower general population to increase the variety of species through the creation of backyard ponds.
