Here is a new video about making glop for carbon transfer printing. This is how I've done it for years with great success. The key is a level surface. I make a 1,000ml batch of Glop and pour 8 10x12 tissue with this amount. Any questions you can send them to jimfitzgerald101@hotmail.com or let me know if you would like to take a workshop in my studio darkroom in Vancouver Washington.

Thats interesting. I am asking why you use xray film as a carrier for the glop and not just mylar or similar?

Thanks for asking. Because I use 8x10, 11x14, 8x20 and 14x17 film negatives I find the X-ray film is available in the sizes I need and it is cheap and reusable. I use either rc paper for the 14x17 negs (15x19 tissue or cut 16x20 with film to size. Been doing that for a long time now.

I'm glad you liked the video. I have an old one up that shows the whole process. Just click my name and you will see a couple more. I hope to have some more up in the near future. Thanks.
