The truly scary part is that this gentleman has achieved this level of craftsmanship at a very young age. His best years are still ahead of him. God bless and may you live a long and productive life.
Absolutely stunning craftsmanship. When you think about the hundreds of steps in the process where a slip of a knife or a carving tool could have ruined the shoe, you can then see the high level skills that this man possesses.
I still remember my grandfather spending countless hours sitting in his garage making leather shoes. He never failed to show me how proud he was of my little accomplishments in life. Sadly, I never returned the favour and now contemplate these videos and all the artistry involved. When I was old enough to comprehend and feel proud he was long gone. Thank you for all the artisans keeping these crafts alive.
It is truly a nostalgic moment for me. I could almost see my father's hands when you cut those leather edges. At late 90's I remember my father told me that he can't keep up with what machine can do and then he give up, he never touch those knifes or those leather again. He died without knowing that hand made shoes survive. Thank you my friend for making this video, it mean alot for me, you are truly an artist, black spot on your nails tells everything
It says a lot about how much handmade things we take for granted in our life. Also, I'd like to compliment the camera work and editing. It took talent to truly share all the beauty of the master handywork with the audience.
It's probably safe to say that many of us watch and re-watch these videos because of a very special, serene atmosphere. There are many shoe making videos out there, but these are truly unique. Thank you so much! I'm looking forward to a new video 😊
@@williamkazak469 That is a big no-no for any basic knife or sharp object handling, cutting towards yourself is dangerous because no matter how good you might be there is always that one time things slip.
I’ve watched boots and shoes made by others. When I saw this guy start putting on the soles by hand, I was impressed. Never have I seen such attention to detail. His tools are extremely sharp. His hands moved as if they were working on a priceless watch. I was riveted on everything he did. I kept saying “did you see that!” Wow, now I understand the other posts calling him “Master”. He is like a modern Michelangelo! His skill is beyond reproach. I was breathless viewing the complete pair. Beautiful! Something like that is meant for a glass case, not for the feet. I’ll bet they are so comfortable to wear!
No wonder why a handmade pair of shoe is so expensive, this gentleman in such young age has such skills that people may learn in their mid age or later ...I loved his patience & humble ness with such incredible skills...the way he handled his tools showing his passion and dedication to his craftsmanship just like an artist playing with his brush to paint his imagination on the canvas...this music is adding to elegance...Stay blessed and have prosperous future....
Leather craftsmanship is so unique and beautiful and it is just pure skill, talent and patience. Hopefully in the future this doesn't become a lost art form❤
Maybe I've just had too much to drink, but as I scroll through the comments I see appreciation for this young gentleman's incredible work in too many languages to count. English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Korean, Indian, and a whole host of others. It strikes me how easily we all can concur in our admiration for one man's skill and work. Why do our governments seem so committed to pitting us against each other?
@@hollylewis5302 I see I left out the word "let", as I why do we let our governments pit us against each other? I have traveled extensively and have seen first hand we all have so much more in common than we seem to realize or appreciate. Oh well...
The most basic workshop, the cramped conditions and limited tools…..and yet the artistry and attention to detail is worthy of haute couture in Paris, London or Rome. I hope his pay matches the craftsmanship, but somehow, I doubt it. ❤️
His pay is the price of the shoes (subtracting the raw material costs), you can see that he engrave his name on the inner sole, therefore he work for is his own brand, he do handmade shoes and sell them (and they are not cheap IMHO)
Now I truly realise what "hand made" really is ! One of the best artistic performances I've ever seen . ❤ An absolutely brilliant craftsmanship, just awesome ! ❤😊
My school in Milan didn't show us all the steps and you confirmed to perfection! I admire your high skill and to see your beautiful Japanese tools are just as fine as your work. Thank you for sharing. I will pass this way again.
This!! This is what RU-vid was made for. Not mukbangs or meme reaction videos, but a master craftsman… showing the world his beautiful soul through shoes that will last a lifetime. Honestly staggering mate!. Hope the world gets to see and buy a pair of your hand made shoes. 👌🏻
Holy cow, now i want a simular footage for my suspension workshop for no reason. Great job anyway, always a pleasure to watch when someone fully dedicates himself to a process and ends up with a truly masterpiece in his hands
Peak level artistry, what a sight to behold, i'm almost lost for words! It's almost unbelievable to think that someone is capable of creating such an elegant pair of shoes with their bare hands right infront of your eyes. Such delicate process, much preciseness, wow!
I've done upholstery and I realise the work that has to go into the final product. You demonstrate so well the processes and skill required. I would love to have a go at this myself, but I think I will leave it to skilled people like yourself. I will definitely subscribe now!
After watching this, my mentality changed on the value of original traditional perfectionism and craftsmanship and process and every stage involved in this masterpiece of a shoe making process.
This is such a remarkable program. To watch a highly skilled craftsman create a one of a kind pair of shoes is very much like seeing a violinist play the Stradivarius violin.
The craftsmanship and attention to detail used in the making of this pair of shoes is incredible. It blows my mind how someone could learn a craft like this and create something so perfect. I wish that I had a talent to create useful and aesthetic things like this young man.
Honestly Todd my man, it's not just talent - there's no reason why a guy like you can't pick up a creative skill like this later in life and craft your own products of similar quality. Boot/shoemaking workshops and classes are things you can do all over the world, over the space of anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, for anywhere from several hundred to a few thousand dollars. My hobby is making hiking packs and pouches. Sure, the first few attempts are functional but look a bit crude, but each thing you craft gets better and better - the stitches become more uniform, the glue less messy, the measuring and cutting more accurate, etc. The guy in this video has likely been doing this most of his life, does it for a livelihood, and makes hundreds of pairs a year - but there's no reason why an enthusiastic person like yourself can't slowly make something of similar appearance and quality in a couple years, as a hobby, over the space of a few months in your free time. There are some relatively new hobbyist shoemakers who handcraft (i.e., no machines and a minimum of professional tools) beautiful, award-winning artistic shoes - not because they're talented or anything, but because they slave away over something they find relaxing over the space of 12-18 months.
This shoe is worth more than twenty ordinary shoes. This is what is called the original shoe, the royal shoe, the jewel of art. I will raise my hats to you and tell you that you are a trillion times artist. Greetings from Morocco 🇲🇦🇲🇦
Are you aware that Morocco has some of the best craftsmen in the world? Have you ever visited a sho makers shop there in Fes or Marrakech? If not, you should!

Siroeno Yoshi, que alma linda! Alcanço sua arte… sua sinfonia! Você tocou no meu coração.
This hand made shoe is worth every penny you will pay for it. The detail in creating this shoe is topnotch. No amount is too much for this well made, hand crafted shoe.❤

I have no idea how this ended up on my feed, but man am I glad it did. Your craftsmanship is absolutely amazing! The finished product is so much more than a pair of shoes, it's truly art!
Awesome job, really handcrafted; not even a simple machine was used, and it's not inferior to the ones done mechanically. You're unstoppable dear, God bless you.
I personally value anything made by hand, such as these magnificent shoes. I put this on as something relaxing to help me sleep but I watched the entire video captivating
