I show you how I turned Harry Potter Wands from different types of wood on a lathe! I make Dumbedore's Elder Wand, Harry Potter's, Severus Snape's, and Professor McGonagalls wands from a piece of 2x4, wood from a tree in my backyard, wood with epoxy resin, exotic wood, and wood from any local hardware store! This is an easy and fun DIY project for any Harry Potter lovers!

I like how you showed the failure along with the success throughout the wandsmithing - they turned out quite stunning. Glad you enjoyed the hbo special, it was a fascinating glance bts of the movies and the incredible individuals responsible for them. Looking forward to the Secrets of Dumbledore in April :)

What kind of lathe is that and what size? I am trying to buy one for this purpose but it’s hard to tell what size I need and what brand.

It’s the one from harbor freight I think 10x18” or around there
