We step into the world of Bushwick native Danny Cortes - the trailblazer who has distilled the essence of the concrete jungle through detailed miniature and life-size replicas.
Fueled by curiosity, Danny mastered his craft during the pandemic and poured meticulous precision into each piece, recreating the aged, distressed, or patinated style that mirrors true urban grit. It is the desire to preserve the memory of the beautiful edges of NYC, the rust and graffiti to the weathering on an ice box, that inspires Danny Cortes.
From miniatures of NY architecture to life-size replicas, we give you his side of the story on full display. Check out some custom pieces 10/14 at Studio 525. Walk-ins are welcome.
