Hi there, hello, hope you enjoyed the video, few things I forgot to mention in the video: Firstly, I suck at sound design so you will probably notice a lack of sound effects in the actual game. Secondly, I completely disregarded the fact that the reaper can hold six tools (2 of each color) because I DON’T KNOW what the yellow tools do. Lastly, I will *probably not be working on this project anymore because I would like to work on some other stuff and because the official Silksong might release soon… hopefully. I can't believe the real Horo Nite Solksing is finally out! (But seriously, great job on this! The crest system looks fantastic! I also really like your idea at 7:20, didn't know before that what the different mask meant. It'd be really cool - if you could be persuaded to continue this project - to add breakable walls and maybe a currency system of sorts? Of course, no pressure to continue on it, and good luck with your other future projects!)
i love those channels, sharing their journey to learn coding by re-creating stuff with their own twist, or just creating their dream game, always gets me excited to code again(kinda weird but i actually always feel motivated to create something on my own after those) also i see much editing improvement, very nice
unbelievable that this is your second video. very good fast phased editing alongside good animated drawings of what you're saying plus of course the meat of the video which is your version of silksong. this community is so dedicated,i love it
idk about yall but the crests remind me of the Dreamers. The last crest attacks that he shows look like claw attacks, as it would be Herrah the BEAST since I see claw attacks as beast attacks- and if you look behind the Hornet crest you can see a crest that kinda looks like Herrah. So I'm guessing that the other crests are Lurien and Monomon possibly?
ur fan game could completely blow up when hollow knight releases with youtubers speed running this game, if i were u i would definitely try to make enough content in the game for a guy trying to make a video or two abt it. mossbag and other hollowknight creators are definitely going to try this out

After playing my only complaint is the knock back and I frames are basically the same so you take a lot of damage. Dude good job though it is insane you managed to do this
I tried it today. There was a huge input delay and some inputs were completely ignored. This made even the normal enemys harder than some Hollow Knight Bosses. So i stopped after 3 rooms.
I used a Nintendo Switch controller since i hate playing with keyboard (unless it's a slow or turn-based game) and i only mapped the controls once at the beginning. Btw. is it intentional that the controls for a controler have to be mapped manually? The website shows controls for controller, but in the control mapping menu are all spaces for controller mapping empty. That confused me a bit.
@@Powerghost1.0 it should be already mapped. I also use a switch pro controller, and there's no input delay on my end. Actually, do you have Steam running at the same time? Because Steam highjacks controllers outside of Steam, some sort of desktop configuration. I would really like to help you out, so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.
@@watermaaron nope, i don't have steam. Could the input delay be connected to slow internet? The game doesn't look like it needs fast internet, but maybe my wifi is just too bad.
I think you should keep working on this project cuz there's a lot of refining that could be done to make it more fun Edit: sorry if this comments seemed mean, the boss just made me rage a bit, this is a very impressive project that clearly had a lot of love and effort put into it
I do agree that there's definitely a lot areas that need more polishing. I'll probably make small updates behind the scenes and not make a full video. But I also want to work on some other stuff I had in mind.
Great video If you want you can add finale to the title slso the sound design isn't that bad but I knew you would say that becuase your channel description Edit: You might also want to advertise this video in your community tab One thing hope is you could heal one at a time in silksong if you don't have full silk buylt you would geal to quick and maybe mess with the tempo Honestly the only thing is the background looks a little weird at times Overall great video and job! Also you didn't have to do Nintendo like that
Are you using keyboard or a controller? Or are you trying to click on the start button with your cursor? Unfortunately, I couldn't get mouse support to work.
bruh where are the invincibilty frames! tried the game and ragequit after 40 minutes lol either way, v cool video, and I'm impressed with how fleshed out this little joke project has become! keep it up (: (fr tho, ples add more invincibility frames and less enemies so close to the edge of the platforms you made me cry)
I don't remember where but I heard that Team Cherry said they were gonna make Silksong more fast-paced, such that you can quickly recover a lot of health but also you'll lose a bunch of HP just as quickly. Anyways, I made a new update where you can adjust the amount of i-frames you get 🤗
