Thank you everyone for your positive and inspiring comments. Thanks to John for making machining accessible to millions of folks through his energy, enthusiasm, and incredible clarity.. I think John, Jimmy, Chris, and Giacco et. al. demonstrate and embody the positive side of what social media could and should be. I owe a great debt to all of them. Thanks again - Mike

I am in AWE! Nearing the time to divest of land area and the greatest mental hurtle was limitations of building things. I built an airplane in my basement, but lots go on in the garage. This is so inspirational for something I can do until my expiration date. The organization and clever innovative details are astounding. The kind of things clever experimental aircraft builders do. Doing clever things is so often a need right in front of us. Then they pay dividends in allowing creative ideas to be transformed into reality. I will have to watch this a dozen times!

My eyes were darting all over looking at all the gems in the background in case they didn't get included in the tour, the idiom "like a kid in a sweetshop" doesn't even get close to how most of us would be if there. I no longer live there, but I believe one could start exploring one side and take decades to get to the other and still not see everything, and everything changes and will be something new before you can start over. How many roofs, basements , and spaces between buildings have you been to? Roosevelt island 😜? Rikers 😕? Others? Sail through devil's notch , been in some of the abandoned tunnels? Pick up a $500 bill from the treasury? Get your car from impound? Ice skate the west side, drink at doc Hollidays on the East , mingle with the rich in the middle or hang in Harlem...So many things, people, places , alive!
