Making Jon Snow’s Sword Longclaw - Part 1 Forging the blade! 

This is the first part of the 4 part series of how I forged and built Jon Snow’s Sword, Longclaw from Game of Thrones. In this video, I show how I forged the blade. Part 2 will be the guard, Part 3 will be the handle, and the for the final episode in part 4, I’ll show the pommel and the finished sword.
I forged the blade from 5160 spring steel. The guard will be forged and made in a 2 part construction of solid steel, the handle will be made from black walnut, and finally, I’ll make the pommel from solid steel.
