This is the final part of the 4 (Now 3) part series of how I forged and built Jon Snow’s Sword, Longclaw from Game of Thrones. In this video, I show how I made the pommel. Part one was the blade, Part 2 was the guard, and the for the final episode in part 3, I’ll show the pommel and the finished sword.
I forged the blade from 5160 spring steel. The guard is forged and made in a 2 part construction of solid steel, the handle will be made from black walnut, and finally, the pommel from solid steel.
