Making life fun again:) 

Gadget, you worry far too much about everything. I realize that it is difficult to stop but STOP! You are a strong woman; you are intelligent, and you are very personable. Try to decrease the worrying a little every day. I am just the opposite, and I NEVER worry about anything. Things always have a way of working out and 99.9% of the time, it works out for the best. Look at it this way. If you didn't worry, didn't make a decision and just went with the flow, it would most times be the same outcome! I have had such an amazing life and have been able to do crazy, fun and wild adventures since I was a teenager and I'm now 71 years old. The difference between you and I is simply that when I was younger, I made almost all decisions based on a saying that I came up with back then. "If it ain't fun, why do it?". I also came up with another saying, "you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning" but that's another story! LOL Learn to relax, learn that NOTHING is serious enough to worry about. I'm sure that you've heard the saying "don't worry about the small stuff, and everything is small stuff." It is true! If it is NOT going to kill you, most times you do not need to make a decision. I hope the rest of your hike went well. I hope that you can loosen up a little and stop the worrying and more than anything, I hope that your life will get far easier once this trail is complete because..........you can do anything girl! This trail is not the end, IT IS JUST THE BEGINNING IF YOUR NEW, INCREDIBLE LIFE! DON'T BE SAD, JUST PLAN THE NEXT ADVENTURE. Good luck! geek

Hi Gadget, Looks like you had a fun day. I'm glad you made the decision to do what makes you happy 😊. After all it is your hike and you deserve to enjoy it in your own way. I can't even start to tell you how much I have enjoyed following your journey. I will be so proud of you when you post the video standing on Katahdin, but it will also be sad knowing there won't be anymore videos 😢. Thank you SO much for sharing your hike with us .
