This is my new favorite stencil. So much fun. I haven't masked, just used small brushes and care for the 4th layer. I've also made some using a yellow for the entire 4th layer and it looked great.
I do love this stencil and the greetings. I bought them right away but am just now getting around to using them. Decided to go back and watch this video to make sure that I knew how to use it. I have all your inks.
If you use alcohol(70% is fine)on a paper towel or cloth it removes the ink and is dry in seconds as opposed to cleaning with water. I spray directly on stencil iin between layers,it's fantastic! No contamination of colors.
Ooh, lovely colors. I’d be curious to see if anyone finds a good color for the 4th/top layer stencil that gives shading to all the colors without having to mask color by color. It probably wouldn’t be quite so vibrant as these fun examples but maybe it would still look good 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe a dark yellow would work, or a tan or grey?
that's a great thought!!! Buttercream and Pebble would probably work! It will give a different look than using monochromatic colors, but I'm going to try it!
