Working on some new roofing techniques using Kilz primer, black and rust colored spray paint and some mineral spirits & sponge brushes!
What you'll need:
- Cardboard roof sections (chipboard)
- 1/16" basswood strips
- Wood glue
- Hobby knife
- Foil HVAC tape
- Kilz primer
- Black spray paint
- Mineral spirits
- Sponge brush

Interesting, I tried to use this method and was unsuccessful. I used Kilz, then inexpensive spray paint, let it dry and then mineral spirits. The paint simply would not come off. A shame, I was looking forward to using this.
