I made a Miter saw station. I really like Bosch's GCM12GDL angle cutter, which my eldest child bought and gave me as a gift with the money he saved while serving in the army, so I rebuilt the Miter saw station accordingly. I've upgraded a lot from the first Miter saw station that I've made sloppy.
First of all, the front, top, and both sides are made of transparent acrylic so that the inside can be seen. The front part is magnetically detachable, allowing for angle cutting.
The dust collection is based on Bosch's GAS15L product and is designed to prevent dust from coming out from the front when cutting the base material by collecting dust from the side with a two-horsepower dust collector.
The two-horsepower dust collector hole is purposely installed 100mm above the floor to collect basic fine dust, and large chips are designed to fall on the inner floor. This is to prevent clogging of the pipe by preventing wood debris from being sucked into the dust collector.
Board guides were installed on both sides, and guide rails and stoppers from Creg were installed on the left side to allow the board to be cut to the desired length.
In the lower part, drawers were made so that the necessary tools and equipment could be stored.
