I have used the Abbie face mould (my original face mould with eyes) to create these faces, and tried to adapt them to create more monster like faces.

A dusting of corn flour in the mould to stop paste sticking - bit.ly/corn_fl...
I tend to work on a cutting mat as its fairly non-stick - bit.ly/craft_mat

I use wooden kebab skewers to help me take the face out of the mould - bit.ly/bamboos...
Using a polystyrene ball makes it easier to remove it from the mould ( 2-3cm one is best) - bit.ly/polysph...
I tend to use a size 4 or 5 sable brush for adding water or edible glue to my work - bit.ly/sablebrush
My modelling tool is a PME flower and leaf veining tool (dresden tool) - bit.ly/PMEdresden
Use a sharp craft knife to open the mouth, my favourite is this one - bit.ly/bluehan...
I use Fractal pens for the lips, eyelashes and face details - bit.ly/FractalPen
