Hello. Some people have all these Different formulas for how you make the clay mixture. Did you just use straight Portland cement with no sand or anything? And how are they holding up for you? And how heavy were they? Thank you.
Hey Love I did both they t holding up good also the weight depends on the fabric as well I did a ge with bathe towels as well it came out heavy have fun with them🥰❤️
Never saw this done before, Esi. Glad to see how it'ts done. We harvested a few peppers today. Hope to start getting eggplants and tomatoes soon! God bless you, Rob
Love the gardens! Love the Scarf in the hair! Love that you covered the molds before starting on the cement adventure. There are cement colour additives so you don't have to paint them. Just add the colour while mixing and you don't have to worry about it later on. They turn out gorgeous.
@@homesteadingwithesikrumpua3046 - - Good and remember if you don't like using the same colours over and over, you can mix. Like Add Red to Blue to make purple and yellow to blue to get green. Just like in grade school learning how to mix tempra paint colours. They are called "Cement PIGMENT" [or] "Concrete Colorants". They very from store to store. HomeDepot and Lowes is where I usually get mine, and they are around $8 bucks a bottle, or up to $20 bucks for the 2 and 3 pound containers of it if you are really into this. I LOVE THEM. I love working with cement for various projects. Good luck trying them. Let me know if you have problems.. I will see if I can help you out.
