Making Muck and Adding Moss to a Wall

Curator Aarin Packard and volunteer Anne are making a muck with fine akadama, fine potting soil, and ground sphagnum moss that they will apply to a bonsai pot and top dress with shredded, dry mosses.
They are working on the Pacific Douglas Fir bonsai created in 2020 as a part of our LAB Project. Bonsai styling by Ryan Neil, ceramic container by Ron Lang, and bonsai stand (not shown in this video) by Austin Heitzman.
