So what are you going to do about an E-Check when its due in a year?? This will never pass with catless downpipes? I ask because I am due now with my F82, and am contemplating trying (defouler in the O2 sensor bungs) if I fail, I guess I have to switch back to my OE Catted DP's which will suuuuck!
I remember I started watching your videos in 7th grade back when I was obsessed with motorcycles and thought they were the dopest vehicles in the world, but time sure did fly by because now I'm going towards my second semester of college next month. keep up the awesome videos man!
Keep the oem catback - no hp gain anyways. It sounds loud enough :) You can install midpipe without removing the muffler - just use manual pipe cutter. you can get it of amazon. As far exterior mod all the M4 needs is side skirts extensions, rear bumper diffuser, and front lip extensions. and H&R lowering springs and it will transform the car like crazy I owned M4 ,now GTR but thinking about F80 now LOL
I probably wouldn't have changed the downpipes IF I had the MPE muffler. The non MPE muffler really dampens sound too much for my liking so having the carless downpipes kind of made up for it. I also did consider going the manual route with cutting the mid pipe but then I thought about rocking back and forth for minutes on end with that little clearance underneath the car, and I decided to just use my reciprocating saw as you see here... Which literally took a minute haha. I'm still considering the springs! I'll probably get the sideskirt extensions eventually! Congrats on your GTR though!
@@STANTHEMOTOMAN H&R lowering springs are amazing! for that car! I run them as well on my GT-R that I installed few weeks back! I dont track the car and I dont' like slamming the car neither! and still can get the car aligned ! thanks buddy!
Hey, you went to Performance One. I was talking with their rep, Mike, about the annual service for my Lambo. Planning to take it there soon. Who did you deal with?
First Vancity M4 channel I've come across. Respect! I'm from Vancity as well. Working on an F83 build right now and considering the single midpipe install. What do you think about the sound with just the midpipe and stock downpipe versus the catless downpipe and single midpipe install? So far from what I've seen it seems to sound better with the stock downpipe but more tuning options for more power available with catless.
Bahahahaha buddy my wife could hear the super duke in our 3rd floor suite when I'd start it up when I lived in my condo. Even more so when I'd roll out as it just bounces off the walls hahahaha
I just ordered the AA equal length midpipes and Remus muffler. Cost a shit ton but can’t wait to install it on my M2c 😬 funnily enough I was found your channel from an S1000RR video Your parking lot install reminds me of when I was in college and would work on my 335i in the parking lot at night too 😂
Finally an exhaust! I was wondering when you’d put it on! Car sounds good man! Next time get the AA Equal Length midpipes to really bring out a whole new tone to the exhaust! Stay safe and keep it going on the channel brother!
I'm from BC, Canada. It's kind of a gray area I believe. We used to have something called AirCare which was essentially an emission test but it no longer exists here. So technically you still need to have a CAT but there's also no tests being run on our cars anymore either... so yeah.
"Finally done, its about 5am now"....How early did you start? Also totally expected you to put a lightmode t-shirt after you said time to change into clothes I don't care about.
Be careful under your ride, a family member just lost a good friend to jack stands shifting. At least it is not a 'fartcan' sound! You are going to get so much hate though cruising around.
Man, you have no idea how paranoid I was. I had a floor jack at all times as my safety net just in case a jack stand slipped out. Haha yeah I love the sound. We'll see what people say I guess 🤣
