I'm sorry but there wasn't any patriarchal ideologies here, and I'm telling you that as a woman. Jin was simply jealous and I think that's completely normal. Imagine your boyfriend\girlfriend coming back home with a bunch of flowers saying that it was a gift from a random guy\girl in her\his class. I mean, who buys flowers to somebody in that sudden way? This is a good way for flirting. Jin even excused himself for his behaviour and you can CLEARLY see how he was trying hard to get rid of all the paranoids that can genuinely occur these times and to stay confident with himself and believe me in those moments it's not simple at all. Really there was nothing for Jin to apoligize for. I'm so sorry that people here are misunderstanding Jin and his behaviour so bad. JUST CHILL

Flowers are the one gift you can give to anyone without looking "suspicious" really. Wanna thank someone for a favor = flowers, friend's birthday = flowers. Good prank but I don't understand why Jin was the one who felt that he needed to apologize at the end. He had a right to be a bit salty because if this was hypothetically real then Hattie should have respectfully declined the flowers since they are a romantic gesture and she's taken already. p.s.
