Watching from Chicago! My family is all back home in California and I miss good Mexican food, but thanks to your channel I am learning how to make it on my own. 😊 Keep up with the delicious food tutorials!
I think one thing I haven't learned to make but would love to is Mexican breakfast. So a Mexican breakfast recipe like maybe chiliquiles or something 😊 but your choice, love your channel and subscribed!
I absolutely love Dona Maria’s mole sauce! I just don’t even think for all the work the homemade is better. I have always enjoyed it best with that usual element peanut butter adds to it. I am definitely going to try ur version out. I’m sure it will be awesome too. Thk u for sharing ❤
I'm focused on getting the food on the table so that mess can wait till I finish the dish! This mole goes perfect with my easy Mexican style rice recipe.

We visited Mexico last week and had a delightful time. I loved the food and wanted to make this myself. Thank you for this recipe and directions. I made this and your Mexican rice recipe. It was delicious.
Hola Deb ,yo le pongo mantequilla de cacahuate y un poquito de chocolate abuelita o azucar, sale delicioso mole doña gracias por compartir su rico mole .
I'm so glad you prefer thighs and drums. I've been to restaurants that use white meat and I dislike that very much!! The meat is so dry even covered in the sauce. Of course everyone's mother made the best mole!! 😆 I loved my moms mole but I don't use bone in meat. I like no bones in my Mole!! 😄 Been working on my mole. Gonna try this one!! 👍😄
So another year has passed without knowing how to make mole for tamales. Is this the mole for that? I’m starting early so when Xmas comes I’ll be ready. Best wishes. I still make my Mexican rice with you in my kitchen!
I love some homemade authentic mall but I often don't have the time to be making complicated dishes. This simple recipe will satisfy your mole cravings.
I have actually added aubuelita chocolate in past as well, I forgot about that and I did have some on hand, that's definitely a good option as well! Thank you for the input

You could make a slurry with cold water and cornstarch to thicken if you prefer. I find it thickens as it sits and jels at night! Thicker the next day. We like our a little thinner, but you could add less broth as well.
My family love to pour the sauce on a bed of rice as well as having it on the side. It thickens to solidity when cooled. If you prefer thicker you could make a slurry of equal parts of corn starch and cold water stirred well until it dissolves to the appearance of milk and add gradually and let it boil about 5 min. until the thickness is to your preference. It does not change the flavor.
Ha ha...you can leave it out! I used to buy I tried it and it doesn't come through peanut buttery , but adds another element...baby steps, but equally fine without!😉😂
