Don’t stop with the bangers!!!!! You’re the only one with a zo6 dropping consistently! You definitely have been inspiring me, I can’t wait to see the dyno numbers im sure low 600’s with the additional stuff you have done. Im about to go headers, flexfuel E50, and trans tune next month.
That’s awesome to hear! I’m glad I’m inspiring you bro. Your yellow on black is sick and unique, your definitely also going to make good numbers on the dyno. Make sure to post it!
I run leaded fuel additives (ETL) with my camshaft, its just as good as e50 for knock limits pushing 21-25 degrees at 30 psia at 7100 rpm without the injection timing issues with e85.....factory cam gives up cylinder pressure at 5k-6k with vvt.....im guess because the factory blower pr map drops out pretty fast after 4500
So more over lap at 5500-6500 vs 4300-4800 will match the blower pr map much better and increase blower efficiency with less restriction downstream at valves
I have the same lid on my Z06 and an AFE CAI. I'm still not happy with the supercharger whine. My 2011 CTS-V with the LSA was crazy loud. I do love the Corvette better though. Thanks for the video!
I wish there was something that could be done to make the whine properly loud like the hellcat. It’s the biggest disappointment I have with my z06 as well.
All you have to do is remove the steel plate in your factory lid. It’s a huge heat soak and causes timing to be removed after only a few pulls. All the shops claiming their aftermarket lids, make more power vs stock have never done such with the steel plate removed. I’ve tested this on multiple laps at Road Atlanta and all the results have been the same.
nice video. I have.the same spec Z06, excet with the color matched side mirrors and hood. car looks great, not too many videos out there with the long beach red collor. I just removed the plate on my stock one. still debating going to a maggy or centrifugal style

Im mechanic in Nashua, New Hampshire Tire guy now but I'll die in this shop ASE certified😂 but because this video im getting your vette I was gonna get an R32
No matter what we do won’t get a loud loud whine like say a hellcat because they’re blower is double the size but we make the same power with less too work with 🤷♂️💪
Car looks great bro, but did you notice the scuff marks on the supercharger impeller? I recommend taking the lid off again to double check where the impeller is getting scuffed. It could cause serious problems if left unchecked. Keep an eye on it and hopefully its not a big deal. Good luck with the rest of the build bro!
If I’m not mistaken the corvette’s don’t have the sound tube to drive the supercharger whine to the cabin ,there’s been a few guys who have done cold air intakes and supercharger lids and still can’t hear the whine
*were installing a few mods on my c7 to make it louder" "start with the supercharger lid then move onto our long tube headers and get a brand new spoiler" i didnt know spoilers increases loudness haha im jk man love the red on your c7! mine is yellow
Yeah not much super charger whine now. Its a hard balance though i did similar in my last vid. So u lost ur super charger noise imo sry. U cant do headers and cats.
If you want more whine do a pulley swap. The whine comes the from the superchargers inefficiency. So the less efficient it is, the more the whine. A pulley will cause the supercharger to be less efficient.
