Not bad for an attempt, though I'd suggest priming the figure and adding multiple thin coats of paint instead of just glopping on a thick coat. Keep practicing and you'll get an excellent result.
You're right, that was my initial thought. But as I watched the video I was like "well we could see this as like an abstract art style like Hobie in spider verse" but I agree, multiple coats and perhaps some very high grit sandpaper
I agree with what he said, it's a nice design it just needs that final touch. Right now it does look like the paint is not good. Would spray paint work? At least for the base colors, you could mask things off and then use a brush for the fine details. I know you can do this, you already completed this one, just some changes in what you're doing and my friend. You're going to be in a great place!!! Keep at it, I also recommend you look at a youtuber his videos are "Ken I make it"
Your respectful and upstanding part of society we need more people like you don't repost stuff and complain to AI to make stuff happier and complain about politics you make your own stuff you share it with the world and not afraid of being bullied thank you for contributing to a better society
Great work Tho a tip for painting your figure is that it's gonna be eassier to use a airbrush or spray paint to get more even layers of paint. You can try masking the parts you need covered to make sure there's no overspray.
Great suit design If you water down your paint just a bit, it makes it looks better and makes it not so thick. That's what I've been doing when I make custom figures. But looks good man.
