Great rescue. My family is always bringing me something they think I can use. It gets overwhelming sometimes. But on the other hand sometimes it is something wonderful. I especially love to make things out of found things it just seems more creative to me. Right now I'm working on small journals for a Scandinavian Bazaar which is in november. I really need to be creative with them because they're not many resources. But it makes it so much more fun and exciting. Blessings and love from New Mexico

Hehe yeh sometimes non crafters collect the most random and interesting junk for us crafters lol. Totally agree that it can get overwhelming though! I'm not saving any more food packaging cardboard at the moment because I have two huge boxes I need to use up first. This little piece though was such nice cardboard I couldn't resist lol. I guess it was ok since I used it same day! lol. Ohh Scandinavian Bazaar sounds interesting!! 🙂🩷🩵

Honestly I am surprised that you managed to part with the amount of cardboard that you did 🤣 I am grateful that the tictacs are not coming my way but you know I'd manage to find a use for them if they did 😝

Can't say I've ever heard of chokos... well, I could say I have, but I'd be lying, lol. 🤭 I did google them, looks like they're really good for you, well, probably not when they're deep fried, lol. 💜💜💜 I love to cook, so may have to look into those further and see if they grow out here. 🪴

They grow super easy Carol, ands you get sooooo many. They grow on a vine and our fence was covered with choko vine. Such a hardy plant! I preferred them baked, like a potato. They're also great in stews and casseroles etc. I hope you can find some seeds! You'll have so many chokos you won't know what to do with them all lol 😄🩵🩷

@@BonnyAndClive It looks like the winter would kill the plant, but if I got them out early enough in the spring, they should grow, will see if Ebay has seeds and can give it a try next year. It does say they thrive in heat and humidity, so yep, this woulda been the perfect year to give them a try, oh well, lol.

Ahh yes your winter. Here, the vine dies off a little in winter, but then springs back to life in summer lol. 😄💚

It's like one of those old time vegetables that went out of fashion, like swedes did lol. Maybe they'll make a comeback one day like kale did lol 😆🥜🥦🥔🫒🌶🍄‍🟫
