Today I'm taking you into my workshop and show you how I make one of my first EDC prybars. This prybar is a prototype to put its functionality through its paces. It is important to me that the prybar is durable, which is why I chose tool steel as the material, which I hardened to 60 HRC. I'm very excited to see whether this prybar can prove its practical suitability. I hope you enjoy the video.

i clicked the video not expecting much since t a channel that i didn't particularly knew anything about, but, nice job. yet, i get that english isn't your first language, it isn't mine either, but giving some context, even in writing would be nice. i mena, even that japanese guy who make knives out of about anything put some context sometimes, and your projects are much more normal and approachable. for instance, i wanna know if you quenched the bar in water os oil and that was up with that ball mil thing. was it black oxide coating ? was is parkerizing ? which mixture you used ? did you had any grinding ball, media or any solid rolling in there ?

Thank you for your comment. You are right that English is not my native language. I didn't want to show more text in the video and describe everything in too much detail. But I'll be happy to answer your questions in the comments. I quenched the prybar in special hardening oil. The black coating is the oxide layer from hardening. I stonewashed the prybar immediately after hardening. I use abrasives from goldsmith supplies and a mixture of water and dishwashing liquid.
