"Big in Japan" war vor ein paar Jahren das erste Lied überhaupt, das mich so richtig gepackt und nicht mehr losgelassen hat und ist immer eines meiner Lieblingslieder geblieben. Nachdem zuerst das ganze Forever-Young-Album und kurz darauf sukzessive auch alle anderen in mein CD-Regal eingezogen sind, wart ihr und seid ihr auch heute selbstverständlich auf Platz 1 meiner Lieblingsbands und ich durfte euch schon einige Male aus der ersten Reihe live erleben - absolute Konzert-Highlights für mich! I love sleaze metal, synth, rnb, ambient, goth rock... (think A-ha, WASP, Francesco Yates) and this one has aspects of all of these - sort of like the best of *all* worlds. It's the second song I learnt to sing in English and in my heart it's the first. Thanks Alphaville for making my teenage years (in 2000s lol) bearable, you are the best band. Greetings from Poland!
