Hi, after woodwork is over we apply polyester patty a couple of times and sand it down till we have a fairly good surface. Then a coat of paint to make it shiny and show possible defects, sanding and then last paint coat or gloss coat. Polish, wax and then mold coat!

Can I ask about how long and wide this boat?
